Nice, close to grand canyon

Posted 24-May-2015
Pros: Location, main desk staff
Cons: Better breakfast buffet
Location: Grand Canyon
Room was OK, restaurant was over priced. Was there for only one night. Reception staff was very nice as well as store. Bar and restaurant were good , but over priced.

Way too expensive for what you get

Posted 23-May-2015
Pros: The food was good
Cons: The rooms were overpriced.
The cost for this hotel was way overpriced. I guess they can charge that much due to the location though. The room and facilities were basic. In all fairness, the staff was very friendly and got us checked in and settled quickly in a freezing rain. Parking was limited due to construction, so you had to park a ways away or park illegally. As far as the restaurants go, they were pretty good. The breakfast buffet was excellent. I think if I return to the Grand Canyon, I would spend my money more wisely and stay in the park.

Close to the Grand Canyon

Posted 17-May-2015
Pros: location, food and service
Cons: We requested to change from 2 queen beds to a king but someone on their side didn't put it in system, this was done 2 weeks prior to our arrival.
Location: We visited the Grand Canyon and went on the Jeep safari and sunset ride both were awesome, defiantly a must see and do for everyone.
This was our honeymoon trip, we were very pleased with the staff especially Regis. There was a little welcome package delivered to our room and we were given complementary buffet breakfasts. Thank you, The Honeymooners Richard and Ruth Herfurth

Pros: Great concierge - good advice on where to go
Cons: Food
The hotel was great, but the food service was not. It was slow at both breakfast and dinner, and the food was not great.

Guter Ausgangspunkt für Gran Canyon Besucher. Preisniveau "gehoben"! Alles schön, nur das Frühstücksbuffet gleicht einer Uni Mensa ....

Good option outside of Grand Canyon Park.

Posted 13-May-2015
Pros: Location to Grand Canyon, there were restaurants right there.
Location: A few good restaurants, just down the road from the IMAX and close to entrance of National Park
We stayed for one evening and the hotel was in a great location to Grand Canyon (outside of National Park). The room was clean, beds were very comfortable and it looked like a good arcade/bowling alley and nice bar. Pretty basic clean hotel but great for a couple of nights. Would highly recommend. We were in the 5000 building.

Nice Hotel, close to Grand Canyon

Posted 13-May-2015
Pros: Very nice looking and clean.
Cons: Lower price or include a breakfast in the morning
Location: Grand Canyon near by
good hotel, good restaurant (not the expensive one). The price was high, but that is due to location. We just stayed one night and if we could have stayed in the park at Yavapai I would have preferred it (the price was less). Because of the price breakfast would have been nice to be included.

We were impressed with the hotel!

Posted 12-May-2015
Pros: It was clean, well maintained, seemed new, had friendly checkin staff, great location, separate sink/mirror outside bathroom, spacious
Location: We thought it was in a very good location and within walking distance of eating establishments.
I wasn't sure what to expect from a best western but it exceeded my expectations! It was a bit expensive but was very good!

Nice hotel right outside Grand Canyon

Posted 12-May-2015
Pros: The Keurig in the room and close proximity to the Grand Canyon.
Location: Right outside the Grand Canyon National Park.
We spent 2 nights at this hotel during our Grand Canyon visit. The staff was very nice, the rooms in good condition and they even had a Keurig in the room which was fabulous for a tea drinker. They have 2 restaurants in the hotel - one family oriented (chicken fingers, fish and chips, etc) and a nicer one in the bar area that served more "adult" fare. (steaks, seafood, etc) We ate in the bar area restaurant one night and had a very good meal.

Great Fun

Posted 12-May-2015
Pros: Staff were friendly.
Cons: The hot tub was nice but the room was small and not well ventilated.
Location: The hotel had a large game room, bowling alley, pool tables, and a sports bar with pool tables. The Grand Canyon is a couple miles up the road.
The hotel staff were great and the buffet breakfast that is included in the price was amazing. It included a ham carving station.
