Pleasant Stay

Posted 13-Nov-2014
Very friendly staff. Spacious room, like a suite. Comfortable bed and plenty of linens. The spa was very clean and very enjoyable! Breakfast was sufficient. My only complaint would be the walls are very thin. Overall for the location and price I paid, it was a pleasant stay.

Older hotel

Posted 30-Oct-2014
Pros: nothing
Cons: a general cleanup and remodel; not up to Best Western standards.
This hotel needs a remodel. The molding on the floors is dirty. There is no carpeting, just tile. There are 2 entry room doors right next to each other, so you hear your neighbors going in and out. These entry doors are at least an inch or more off the floor.

Do not go there unless you have a dog.

Posted 27-Oct-2014
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Everything espescially pillows that are tiny and years old. Cleanliness of carpets and size of rooms. Don't understand how Best Western owns this.
Location: Location is next to a very good restaurant called Fat Olives but that is it.
This is a pet friendly hotel and they bark at all hours. Rooms are very small and carpets are dirty. Definitely not recommended and disappointed that Expedia has this hotel on its list and somehow well rated.

Great value!

Posted 18-Oct-2014
Pros: Value, cleanliness, polite staff.
Cons: Internet slow -- maybe a temporary difficulty.
Enjoyed a suite. Large rooms. Great value for the price. Nice staff. Very clean rooms. Internet was a little slow. I highly recommend this motel.

Sub-par

Room was run down, large stains on carpet. Bathroom only closes with a sliding glass door. Small breakfast room, had to stand to eat.

Nice Hotel

Posted 10-Oct-2014
Pros: The staff was very helpful and polite.
The room was very comfortable and clean. The only negative with this hotel is it's located on a very busy street.. It was a little difficult exiting the hotel.

Room was very small, no place to even open the suitcase, worst of all was the mattress which was many years pass its usefulness. Railroads tracks right across the street which was very active all night.

Nice hotel but next to railway with busy trains.

Posted 29-Sep-2014
Pros: Small but comfortable room with all facilities. Receptionists were lovely and good choice at breakfast.
Cons: Nothing. Perhaps offer earplugs for those who do not like trains!
Location: Flagstaff has lots on offer and I wish we'd had time to visit the Lowell Observatory, the Riordan Mansion plus the Pioneer Museum but we had to go on.
Stayed one night as en route to Monument Valley. Noisy with trains throughout night but breakfast in the morning was lovely.

Good but not excellent

Posted 21-Sep-2014
Pros: Wifi worked well. A staff member was roaming about at breakfast being helpful with how to make waffles and cleaning tables as folks left.
Cons: Maybe some way to reduce fan noise in the room. It was just a bit louder than I wanted but I chose noise over being hot.
Location: I did not do anything nearby. It was just a convenient stop between my visit to the Grand Canyon and Big Sur in California.
Comfortable hotel with the amenities I needed. I ended up with a room near the staircase so would hear people come up the stairs. Fortunately there wasn't a lot of traffic on the stairs. I did enjoy the breakfast room and the breakfast food. For some reason I liked it that the breakfast room was in a completely different building than the rooms.
