The lady that welcomed us, I didn't get her name, was just great. She was friendly and joking with us, which just helped keep good moods going. It was nice to have a dispenser of ice water in the lobby as well.
The room was clean but had a faint stale odor mixed with a hint of weed. Nothing overbearing, you could just tell someone had done something they shouldn't have. We turned the AC on and that cleared in about 10 seconds.
We were staying a couple of nights and I absolutely love that no one comes in your room. Need clean towels? Trash full? Just place them outside your door and when you get back you have a bag of clean towels and empty bags if needed.
We didn't have breakfast there, we prefer to check out local small cafes when we travel, but we did take a peek. Breakfast is the usual waffles, scrambled eggs, sausage, pastries, cereal, fruit, yogurt, and juice.
The water pressure wasn't so great, we were on the 3rd floor, that could have had a hand it that. My one problem, and I did tell the gentleman about it when I checked out, was the mattress. You could visibly see the uneven wear, and hear the springs, it just needs to be replaced. My back was killing me by the second morning. I know hotel mattresses aren't always the best but, this was really bad. This is why it's important to talk to the employees; if they don't know, they can't fix anything. Now they have that chance.
Overall, a great stay and we will go back.
