“Close to everything but with a neighborhood feel”
While it's only a block away from Granada's main convention center, this hotel has a neighborhood feel and is in walking distance to the central shopping area. Hotel Saray is modern and well kept. We stayed in a family room, which was quite spacious and comfortable. Hotel staff is friendly and multi-lingual. Bus stop is a block away and Granada's public transportation can easily access the main attractions and sites. Breakfast selection is somewhat limited, but there are several spots to choose from within a couple blocks of the hotel.
“Lovely hotel”
Bars and restaurants within 15 mins walk 40 minutes walk to the Pavillion entrance to the Alhambra Lovely pool Only negative - no gym (it was bad weather and we wanted something to do indoors)
“Great Location”
The Saray Hotel was superb. Lovely entrance, great rooms and staff. Fab location and although we didn't eat our evening meal in the hotel, you could easily walk to restaurants. It was also within a short walk of bus stops and we caught the Tourist Bus which took us to the Alhambra. The hotel had a lovely pool. We would stay there again.
“exellent, clean and not too far away!”
My wife and I booked this hotel for our Granada city break, we found the hotel with no problem and found the secure under ground parking very easily. The recepcionist spoke good english and we were quickly given our room key cards. The room was very clean and to a high standard. The location was not too far around 20 mins walk from center of Granada.Breakfast was the only minor point as it wasn't really worth 11 euro. I would certainly recommend this hotel!!
“Good Value in Granada”
We enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Saray, although it was very brief. The staff was helpful and courteous and the hotel was clean and had lots of amenities. Wi-fi was available, breakfast was average for European hotels, and the pool area was very nice looking (although we didn't have a chance to use it). Overall it was a nice hotel and we'd stay here again if we ever make it back to Granada.
“Close to everything in the city”
We stayed at the Saray Hotel on Friday - Sunday for a family weekend away. WE booked through Expedia nad gota great rate on a family room. We are 2 adults and 2 children and our confirmation said family room with 3 beds. I know I'm blonde but I presumed that was 1 double and 2 singles for the children. Check in was great they spoke really good English, the car park is an added bonus although very tight not sure how we would have managed with a larger car. Upon arrival to our room we found there were 2 singles pushed together and a single for one of the children. When we called reception they said this is the largest room they have so we spent 2 nights with a 10 year old squashed in between us in the double. It was not ideal and even though it was only 2 nights we managed but had it been longer we wouldnt have stayed. I think they need to make this clearer when you book. Everything is walking distance to the hotel - the science park is fantastic for children, and the Alhambra is stunning. Granada is a lovely city, the hotel is clean, modern and everyone was friendly. They could have done with a few more sunbeds by the pool but we were there in peak season August so is to be expected really. The only thing that let this trip down for us was the lack of a bed for one of my children.
“Hotel - Just as others have reviewed”
This hotel was just as I had read in others reviews - hotal breakfast expensive with the current euro exchange rate and not all the food was as fresh as I would expect. But coffee & pastries are found nearby and a cheaper and alternative option. Hotel on the edge of the town centre but not a problem to walk there in 10 mintues. Pool looks nice but cold!
“Satisfactory Hotel”
Clean and spacious rooms. The hotel was located within a 15 minute walk to the centre of Granada. The communal areas were clean, the swimming pool was small and busy. The prices for alcohol at the pool bar were very expensive, over 14 euros for two white spirit drinks with mixer. We didn't eat at the hotel so cannot comment on the food. However, the breakfast price was advertised at about 11 euros for a continental. I would return to this hotel and would have no qualms about recommending it to friends or family.
“Z”
What a gem. I never understood why its price is low. It is a true 4-star hotel. The inside resembles Al-Hambra which makes it unique. It has very nice pools with Al-Hambra Generlife design. We a family with kids had a great room, very clean and very decent size. The kids had a blast in this hotel. Its location is great and you can walk from it to the downtime and from there take a taxi or bus 30 or 32 to Al-Hambra and Al-Bazyan. Its parking costs around 17 euro which is a bit high but you don't need a car in Granada. Even if you have a car you will end up parking it and take the taxi or bus, you can't drive there due the constructions everywhere and its roads are very crowded. Granada is a great place to visit You can't go wrong wrong with this hotel. I will stay there again no doubt about it.
“Nice hotel, slightly inconvenient location”
Easy to get to from airport; bus drops off just a block away in about 20 minutes. It's an easy walk into town from the hotel but not very scenic. Hotel breakfast was great but a little pricey...other choices for breakfast are limited. Eating highlight was Cunini Restaurant where we had fabulous seafood platter on menu del dia.
