“excellent hotel choice”

The hotel had very friendly and helpful service. The rooms we stayed in were clean, with good, well-supplied bathrooms. The hotel was in a pleasant, quiet neighbodhood, in walking distance to Alhambra. The hotel had a lot of space. It is near downtown, close to a bus stop that takes you to the intercity bus station, and not far from the Gonzalez bus stop that brings you in from the airport. I would highly recommend the hotel to anyone who is not picky.

“Very nice hotel, centrally located, close to centre and Palace.”

Attractive hotel, a little ostentatious with "Roman" influence, but clean and tidy. Buffet breakfast and evening meals available, also snack bar at the Poolside.

“Reasonable value, good location”

Visited late September and the hotel felt empty (there were a few other guests). The location was great in that it was a 10 minute max walk from the central sights and 20 minutes walk (up a very steep hill)to the Alhambra. It was clean, staff polite and the spa was good. Value was ok, Expedia rate included use of the Spa facilities and this being included in the price made it ok value.

“Excellent Spa”

We stayed for 5 nights in this lovely hotel, the pool was great, the spa treatment and water circuit is definetely a must. Very disappointed with the food, not of the quality expected of this hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful. The location was great in a nice looking area near the centre of Granada, a 10 minute walk from the Alhambra Palace

“Good price”

WE stayed at this hotel our first night in Granada to be close to Alhambra, but it wasn't particularly convenient and it took a bit of walking to get to the more interesting areas. It was very inexpensive, however and it certainly was walkable, clean and fairly comfortable. it did have a nice little patio.

“It's all about the room”

If you get a good room, well positioned, with a nice view, you may have a pleasant experience. If not, ask for a change. But nicelly, otherwise you can get something worse.

“The hotel is very well located and convenient.”

The hotel is an old structure, but the service was very good and courteous. Parking is available in the hotel at extra charge, which was very convenient. The restaurant in the hotel is average.

“Ideal stopover for Al Hambra”

The hotel was well situated for our one night, two day stop in Granada. It is close to the Al Hambra (short and inexpensive taxi ride arranged by hotel, taxi arrived within 2 minutes of call)and a 10 - 15 minute walk from the town centre. It is situated in a quiet side road so although you have the above benefits you dont suffer from noise. Our room was basic but since we literally used the hotel as a dormitory this was not an issue. We ate out in the evening so did not try their restaurant for the evening meal or breakfast (early start at Al Hambra). The hotel parked and returned (!) our hire car for two days and charged only a single flat rate - was expecting a daily charge. All in all a good find.

“"All that glitters is not gold"”

This hotsl was very good in appearance. My room was quite neat and tidy and all in all I was quite satisfied with it, UNTIL, it was time to sleep. The walls of the rooms must be made of paper because I could hear everything that was going on in the surrounding rooms and the corridor. From a whisper to an argument. It was very disturbing. Very difficult to sleep at night. It is quite close to the Alhambra and technically 'walkable' but the route is entirely a steep uphill climb and unless you're reallly keen on a workout, you'll most likely end up taking a cab or a bus anyways.

“Hotel Los Angeles--nice hotel with drawbacks.”

This hotel is about a 20 minute walk from downtown which is farther than is convenient for most people. The outdoor pool is only open from 10 am until 8 pm so was not useful as we often didn't get back from site seeing until near then, and there was a charge for the indoor pool. The rooms were comfortable with large balcony/patios but the soundproofing was poor which could make for a noisy night. The hotel is pretty and has large sitting areas, a small bar with snacks by the pool and a large buffet cafeteria/restaurant upstairs. The staff were fairly competent but certainly I wouldn't say friendly. Overall a nice hotel with limitations. I would stay closer to downtown if a hotel is available.
