“Great location, hard bed”
This hotel is a wonderful location for everything that Granada has to offer. It was cheap so I have to remember you get what you pay for. My room was a single bed room. It was simple, drab, and the bed was hard. The bathroom was large (by Spanish standards) and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. The location is the best thing about this hotel, I doubt you would find a lower price right in the city center. A taxi from the train station is about 7 Euro, or walk about 30 minutes for free!
“small room but good breakfast”
Hotel located on busy main street but within walking distance of most of the city. Room was small, dull and uncomfortable with nowhere to sit except the bed.It was, however, quite clean. The downstairs lounge area was ok but not particularly restful as it was also a walk through area.Breakfast (7 euros extra) was good and worth the money.
“Great location, service and value”
No problems here. Hotel maybe a bit dated and worn but otherwise fine.
“Bargain hotel”
The single room was quite small. Reminded me of young Harry Potter's room below the staircase. The bathroom was almost as big as the room. It was basic and neat. Breakfast was reasonably priced. I liked the location of the hotel. It was within walking distance of the Cathedral, there were plenty of restaurants nearby. Buses and taxis were easily available. Overall, I felt that the airline and hotel package booked through Expedia represented decent value.
“Good location, old hotel”
The first room that we were given was dark and had bars on the windows. However, the receptionists were helpful in moving us the next day to a larger room with its own small balcony that got some sunlight in the afternoon. The hotel is very well located to see the city and the Alhambra. The tourist bus stops almost outside and the airport bus is just down the road. The main shopping area is round the corner. The hotel is old and shows it with poor soundproofing but it is clean and if you're not going to stay in the room other than to sleep, it is a very good place to use as a base.
“Granada Hotel”
This Hotel is in a perfect location for seeing Granada. Breakfast good value at 7 Euros. Staff very good. Only draw back ...rooms extremely warm and the air conditioning blew out even warmer air. This was March so it may get a bit sticky later in the year.
“Solid hotel in great location”
The Juan Miguel Hotel was a pretty good hotel in a great location. The only complaint would be the fact that instead of one queen bed, they had two small twins, but that wasn't a huge deal. Location that can't be beat, nothing to worry about in the hotel. Recommend it to anyone who goes to Granada.
“Noise all night and No Working TV”
Juan Miguel hotel was a terrible experience. You can hear noise from the other rooms. The walls on this hotel are thin and the plumbing is loud and wakes you up in the middle of the night. Every time the people in next room showered or flushed it was so loud in our room. We did not have a working tv in our room, we called downstairs and they told us there was nothing they can do. The lady at check-in desk said she was alone and noone can come look at it or fix it. Also, if you have heavy luggage you have to carry it to flights of stairs to reach the elevators! Not at all satisfied with this hotel.
“Nice!”
The location is great, footsteps away from the center, Calle Navas, even we went walking to el Albaicin and La Alhambra. The hotel is nice, the room and the bed were comfortable, the bathroom was very modern. The only negative thing is that the pipes are loud, so we could hear the noise everytime someone nearby took a shower, etc. We took the breakfast at the hotel, a buffett, normal but enough. Overall we like the hotel and specially its location.
“Juan Miguel Hotel Granada”
Hotel room was spacious and clean for four people. Beds were a bit uncomfortable but the staff was nice. The best part of this hotel is the location. The hotel itself is outdated, but it is okay for 1-2 nights.
