The perfect hotel in La Herradura.
This is a lovely, comfortable, safe hotel. Location is ideal, just up from the beach & restaurants. The breakfast on the roof top terrace overlooks the beach, the bay and the mountains. All the front desk personal are friendly and helpful. I remember Jesus, Jose Miguel (awesome) and Raquel, but there were others who made me feel at home! I hope to return this Fall or next Spring.

Good Quality and value
A good position close to the seafront in this seaside resort. Was given a friendly welcome by Rosa who helped me with unloading and offering advice on parking. The room was clean and of good quality. Took half board and was offered a voucher for an excellent restaurant a few doors down, as the hotel restaurant was closed for the day. Altogether would recommend if staying in the town, or as a stop en route elsewhere.

quiet beach in lovely environment
la herradura is a quiet place, probably more attractive to families than younger people who want to combine beach and nightlife; but it is very pretty and only 45 min from Granada and La Alhambra. We loved Almijara hotel, very friendly staff great food nearby, the breakfast buffet is also very good.

Great location 2 min from beach and 2 min from bus stop. Fresh breakfast served on roof terrace with lovely views. Buffett dinner was also.good, now running special at 10 Euros per person. Very helpful staff at reception. Long great beach so it never got too crowded. Very green town, loads of flowers everywhere. It should be noted that the La Herradura is truly Spanish plaxe, no crowds of foreign tourists, food at restaurants and in shops is local. Great if you want to try new things and get to know another culture.

Very nice and comfortable hotel
Hotel was very conveniently located, close to the bus stop and to the beach. Small town with relatively little to see (other than the beach and water sports) but easy to hop on a bus and go see other areas along the coast or even inland. Hotel staff were very helpful and spoke english very well. Breakfast was delicious, great selection and very good quality/amount for the price. Bed wasn't very comfortable but the room was clean. I would definitely recommend this hotel to family and friends.

Excellent value for money.
Simple and fairly basic but clean and well cared for and very good value for money. Staff efficient and friendly. Buffet breakfast generous as was the buffet dinner, good quality and all you could eat for 10 euros! Very good value. A hop and a skip to the lovely beach at La Herradura.

Very nice place, with good public transport if ...
A very pleasant hotel in a lovely area, mountains to the sea and wonderful fresh local fruit and veg - tomatoes to die for. Only a short walk from the town's main bus stop with routes direct to Malaga, Granada, Nerja and Almeria. Staff were courteous and very helpful, and provision of excellent buffet breakfast including freshly cooked English. Cooking good, though evening buffet might be less than adequately hot (microwave on side!). Bus timetable information available but confusing with local and regional services, best to get them well organised asap.

Great little hotel near nice beach
Overall nice tourist quality hotel... good breakfast, clean rooms and common areas, extremely helpful staff. Close to beach (note that while La Herradura is a very nice town, the beach is mostly covered with pebbles, NOT sand).

Quaint but parking is an issue
This hotel is great but parking is a premium in La Herradura and we couldn't find the elusive parking lot the hotel employee directed us to for about 1/2 hr. It was far from the hotel. Other than that, good staff (although seemed stressed), great view, close to the amazing beaches, and a quaint beach town to enjoy! (If you can find a place to park, that is). The breakfast isn't all that great but the view from the top of the hotel may have been worth the 7 euros...

Hotel muy confortable, la habitación amplia y la cama muy cómoda. A pesar de que el mobiliario es antiguo estaba todo muy limpio. Volveré a alojarme allí y lo recomiendo!

El hotel está muy bien situado junto al paseo marítimo así que se puede ir a pie a la playa. Todo el personal es muy agradable y solícito. Las habitaciones y zonas comunes muy cuidadas. La limpieza impecable. El desayuno (salvo el café que, como en muchos hoteles, deja que desear) bueno y variado en una terraza con impresionantes vistas. La terraza de la habitación con vistas al mar.

belle découverte pour cette première fois dans cette région de l’Andalousie; Seul bémol, l'eau est très froide, baignade un peu difficile, seuls les enfants sont les premiers dans l'eau. Idéal pour les sports aquatiques. Très belle mer, plage et mer très propres?

Nicht zu empfehlen, zu laut, unpersönlich,
bin ziemlich enttäuscht vom Hotel, hatte gute Bewertungen, worauf sich das bezieht i9st mir schleierhaft. Hatte Unterkunft mit Parkplatz gebucht- Hotel hat aber keine Parkplätze !!!!, man muss auf den Straßen ums Hotel nach einem Platz suchen- sehr nervig. Zum Frühstück gibt es für die Spanier Cappuccino o.ä, für die anderen Touristen Filterkaffee usw. Alle ziemlich unfreundlich und es wird mit zweierlei Maß gemessen ! Je Nacht kam die Müllabfuhr gegen 2.30 und hat die Container geleert- Danach war an Schlafen nicht mehr zu denkenn ! Ich würde nicht wieder hinfahren !

Bäst och Fin Hotell.
Allt var fint. personal mycket vänliga och hjälpsamma. Maten och Frukost var gott. Vacker utsikt över havet från terrassen där jag åt frukost på morgonen. Rummet var rent och fint. Det kommer att blev oförglömlig och fin upplevelse för mig under semestern att bo så Bäst. Läget var bäst nära till stranden och kommunikation. Varmt Tack till All personalen på Hotellet. Jag var Mycket Nöjd.

El personal es atento
La verdad es que es un hotel normalito lo que lo hace bueno es el trato con su personal el cual es muy amable. La habitacion es amplia pero la cama es una incomodidad ya que para uno esta bien pero para dormir en pareja es un coñazo.
