“Charming Hotel in Great Location”
Conveniently located in the old Arab quarter with the Alhambra up on the hill across the river, you are minutes walk from many main attractions, shops and restaurants. This hotel was a bit hard to find at first so make sure you know where you're going since the cab drivers and locals on the street had no idea where it was! It is inaccessible by car, about 2 minutes walk from the Plaza Nueva. The hotel is very nice with friendly staff however there is no elevator and little help getting your luggage up the stairs. That would be my only criticism. Otherwise we were comfortable and happy!
“Very nice hotel and great location”
Very nice hotel and staffs, perfection location, 10 minutes walking distance to Alhambra palace. In the heart of old town of Granada, next to plaza nueva, yet very quite. room with wi-fi internet access, cozy and clean. Very nice and helpful hotel staffs. They are ready to help you on everything. Great afternoon tea with juice, water, coffee and some snacks.
“Couldn't ask for more really”
A good location, but would be a problem for people who had huge cases to carry up to the hotel as you cannot get a taxi to the door. Lots of steps through the hotel which could also be a problem for some people. However, this was not a problem for us and we found the hotel very comfortable and a bit of an oasis from the heat and bustle of Granada. Building work is going on next door so if you are a late sleeper, be warned! The reception staff were extremely helpful and even recommended a local, non touristy tapas bar for us, which was fabulous.
“Wonderful stay”
The hotel lies at the foot of the Alhambra, in a quite back street but within a few minutes walk of the centre of Granada. The staff were always attentive and helpful, the hotel was a haven from the hustle and bustle of Granada, and its complimentry afternoon tea, friut salad aand cakes served in the enclosed central courtyard most welcome. Our room was well appointed with lovely linen.
