Diamantino has only 7 rooms, no lobby or reception, and a door that opens onto one of the central piazzas of Padua. Great location and nice room, but very hard to get in initially. Plus, our room was on the 4th floor and there's no elevator. The "included breakfast" in reality meant a chit for coffee, oj and a pastry at a cafe next door to the Diamantino. The "hotel" belongs to the owner of the adjacent jewelry store. He's nice, but the whole system is weird, and initial access was very confusing.

This hotel was exactly what I wanted centrally located in the pedestrian area of Padua (though taxis from the station can get there in 10 minutes). My room was very comfortable and the bathroom was excellent. Breakfast was good.

On paper this looks like an interesting boutique hotel in the city center of Padova. However there are some things that are just not in line with the pricing of the rooms:
- Check out time of 10:00 (and no way to change this - trust me I tried)
- Having to pay separately for the use of spa (and btw it's closed on Sunday)
- Service. Extremely poor with the reception trying to convince us we couldn't leave our luggage there during the day for us to pick up later ("it's only a small hotel, we don't do this")
At least the service will need an overhaul will this hotel survive.
This hotel was perfect for our one day visit to Bologna. Very easy walk from train station. Clean modern bathroom, spacious clean room. Lovely breakfast with everything you could want. Easy walk to wonderful restaurants and city sites. Definitely recommend this hotel.
We stayed in room 100. Wifi was ok, but went out a bit. Balcony faced building and parking lot, and was sufficient for smokers. The size of the room was very nice! Happy we had a fridge and nice hot water. Breakfast at €5 was just what we needed.

Nice room. Very nice and helpful staff. Location is great for visiting the Basilica of San Antonio and botanic gardens. Ten to 15 minute walk to other historic sites, such as the Scrovegni Chapel. Note that there is an additional fee of 10 euros per day to park your car at the hotel.
