“Great hotel if you largely wish to stay in it by the pool”

Hotel itself was great. I didn't quite realise how far it was from the ocean/beach (25 mins walk) - but that may be because I never been in Maspalomas before so I didnt quite have the lie of the land. If you wish to stay by the pool beneath the palm trees and read your book while getting some sun in a civilised environment - this is the hotel to do it.

Area recommendations
Faro de Maspalomas (5 mins in a cab or 25 mins walk from Jardin Dorado hotel). If you go right from the Faro lighthouse there is a nice promenaade with restaurants and coffee places by the ocean front and evrything is looking very civilised. Dont go to Playa del Ingles unless you have to or unless what you are after is cheap and cheerful fun. Everything is within EUR 5 taxi ride (Yumbo center, the beach etc).

“Great, we will be back”

Been to jardin dorado 4 times and find it ideal for a quiet retreat but still close to Maspalomas and Playa Del Ingles. Garden around each bugalow make a great setting for breakfast as the sun rises.

“CAMERE SPORCHE ASSOLUTAMENTE NON UN 4 STELLE”

Ho soggiornato in questo hotel con il mio compagno per 15 giorni ad agosto..periodo in cui sconsiglio di andare alle Canarie..troppo caldo e troppa umidità specialmente la sera! L'hotel è fuori dal centro quindi senza macchina è molto scomodo visto che muoversi in taxi non é molto economico. La camera era grande e spaziosa..come in foto..peccato fosse costantemente sporca. Ho avuto una discussione con la reception perchè sono entrata in camera dopo che secondo loro le pulizie erano state fatte..e ho trovato il pavimento del bagno sporco di terra e pieno di capelli e il lavandino sporco di dentifricio che avevamo involontariamente versato nel lavandino il giorno prima. Le salviette "pulite"hanno strani segni marroni..e sono lise. Numerose volte ho trovato formiche nella vasca. Un giorno mi sono trovata lenzuola di 2 letti singoli nel letto matrimoniale..e non sono state cambiate per diversi giorni. Ovviamente le camere non hanno il bidé. La colazione: una cosa penosa senza alternative sane..cereali raffermi e numerose volte panini e brioches non erano freschi. Sconsiglio questo hotel sia per la posizione che per i servizi. Non si presenta affatto come un 4 stelle ed è sicuramente poco pulito.

“Improvements needed”

Jardin Dorado is a charming place but the service could be much better. The Bungalow is a nice place with lots of room. Great bath room, bedroom and living room. Outside there is a nice terrace and a lovely little garden. The food and buffet is fine and there is lot to choose from. Thats positive. But honestly I can't recommend the hotel. The service is very poor. At the bar outside the service was lazy and very unfocused. Sometimes you had to wait 10-15 minutes before someone helped you. It also seed that the staff was so tired of their work. They were not that friendly. No smiles and some were bitter like they had a bad day. All inclusive is not all inclusive. That is a bad thing too. The price level on Gran Canaria is very fair and I simply don't understand why everything is not included then. If you liked at cocktail or a drink you had to pay. Even if you liked an espresso you need your wallet. At the bar they didn't had a register and the staff had to go inside for change. Again annoying long waiting time. They had Internet connection but don't expect to get online because the connection is so bad. At last the Jardin Dorado is a very quite place. After 9 pm the hotel is almost dead. If you want good service then stay at another hotel.

“hotel jardin dorado gran canaria”

La stanza era esattamente come in foto, non particolarmente pulita, ma decisamente ampia. Il villaggio è molto curato e carino, anche se non tutti i bungalow hanno una bella vista e se si capita in quelli confinanti con il campo sterrato o con il parcheggio non è certamente il massimo....quelli, come il nostro, che affacciano sul campo da golf o sull'interno, invece, sono davvero belli. La posizione del villaggio è discreta, anche se per arrivare in spiaggia bisogna munirsi di macchina oppure di pazienza per prendere l'autobus. I taxi sono a buon mercato per i tragitti brevi, mentre costosissimi per i tragitti lunghi. Raggiungibile con pochi minuti di auto è la zona di Meloneras, davvero bellissima e consigliatissima per splendide passeggiate lungo mare e shopping. Il cibo dell'hotel è soddisfacente nonostante la cucina sia internazionale, per lo piu pensata per tedeschi ed inglesi. Il servizio veloce e cordiale. Piscina grande e bella. Assolutamente un hotel dove tornerei volentieri.

Meloneras. Assolutamente la zona piu' bella, curatissima, piena di negozi e con una passeggiata sul lungo mare invidiabile. La spiaggia di Maspalomas. Da togliere il fiato!

Il clima di dicembre è meraviglioso, caldo ma ventilato, mai sentita afa. Certo, l'acqua è un pò freddina, ma molti facevano il bagno.

“Die Anlage Jardin Dorado in Maspalomas liegt sehr ruhig, aber abgelegen.”

Lage sehr gut, aber Auto notwendig Appartements am Parkplatz wenig attraktiv, unseres zum Golfplatz hin war sehr gut! Baden nur von 10:00-18:00 Uhr erlaubt, das ist viel zu kurz! Kaffee aus den Maschinen sehr dünn. TV-Empfang deutscher Sender sehr schlecht (Einschalten lohnt NICHT!) Insgesamt aber empfehlenswert wegen der ruhigen, aber zentralen Lage

“Gutes Hotel für kurzen Aufenthalt mit Ausflügen ins Hinterland”

- Hotel liegt am Golfplatz von Maspalomas in Gehentfernung zu den Dünen (15min). - Strandzugang nur mit längerem Fussweg oder per Autoanfahrt möglich. - Bungalows mit ordentlicher Ausstattung (Fernseher, Minibar (ohne Inhalt), Dusche/WC). Sonntags gibt es in diesem Hotel jedoch keinen Zimmerservice laut Rezeption. - Nach Playa des Ingles sind es mit dem Auto 15min.

“bungalows Jardin Dorato”

l'albergo mi piaceva...tranquillo, buono il ristorante compreso il rapporto qualità/prezzo. Piccoli difetti: i letti matrimoniali sono fatti da materrassi, lenzuola e coperte singole, la porta non era ben registrata e si apriva con difficoltà, le chiavi magnetiche difettavano spesso, non c'è il bidet

“Relax completo”

Hotel carino e tranquillo. Molto rilassante. Personale disponibile. Consiglio: Meglio noleggiare un'auto in internet (con molto tempo di anticipo nei periodi di alta stagione) da ritirare all'aeroporto... I taxi non sono proprio gratuiti... (per trovarlo basta seguire per il campo da golf)
