“Maybe 4 star”

I would say more like 4 star than 5. Food was ok pretty much the same buffet every day. We were not informed that the spa and bar 230 were under renovation, Shower had a mind of its own, airconditioning hardly worked anywhere.

“Not your usual 5* Sheraton more 4* but an excellent location for golfers”

We enjoyed relaxing and golfing but were dissappointed with the level of service. The breakfast was very good but the bars and restuarants were very poor, the service and the food. The bus shuttle to the beach house was a great service. We joined in the New Year Gala Dinner and this was excellent, the food, the service, the organisation and the entertainment. We would not stay here again as it is a cold atmosphere but would certainly golf here. The food at the golf club was very good.

“Slightly different hotel”

Had a short trip here - rained 2 days but beautiful sunshine other 2 days. Is desert-themed- lots of cacti and aloe vera planted around the hotel. The view from the top of the hotel is all Maspalomas sand dunes/scrub land. The corridors are mostly made of black stone which makes it rather dark but it's certainly different and striking. Food was great - lots of choice at buffet including a grill where they custom cook steak/fish in front of you and they change the dishes everyday. Sunset pool (heated) on 11th floor was amazing when the weather was good. There are at least 4 other pools. The pool area is clean and pleasant. The spa was small and basic but clean and the staff were lovely.Only problem was that it got rather crowded when it was raining - they should really limit the number of visitors to about 8 otherwise it's not very relaxing. Also one of the steam rooms was broken and the other had a reserved sign on it so we couldn't use the steam on 2 days. Room reasonably large with balcony. Bathroom spacious and clean. Only change I would make is that there is a clear window in the shower partition between room and shower which is a bit inconvenient unless you are travelling with your other half. Clientele mostly older, golfing types. No young drunken people out on the lash. Not much in the immediate vicinity apart from the golf course but the hotel on a free shuttle bus down to the town by the coast where there is a nice eating/shopping boulevard overlooking the sea.

“Not happy at all. They promise alot of extra luxeries but they do not deliver.”

The Hotel was not what they claimed to be. The travel part of the trip went smoothly

“quiet stay”

“hotel sheraton salobre”

hotel fantastico, paesaggio circostante stupendo soprattutto se visto dalla piscina all' ultimo piano, piscine tutte belle e mai affollate, colazione superba, camere molto belle e servizi in generale molto buoni, da visitare la piscina della spa!!! lo consiglio se non si è patiti della spiaggia perchè un pò scomoda se nn si ha la macchina anche se ce un ottimo servizio navetta che però ti porta in una delle spiagge più brutte a mio parere, comunque se si vuole passare una settima in pieno relax con famiglia o fidanzata consiglio di fare una pensione completa e chiudersi in albergo, a mio parere solo l'albergo vale il viaggio!!!

mas palomas la consiglio solo per lo shopping od una passeggiata di sera, invece è assolutamente da visitare mogan e las palmas ovviamente però bisogna avere un auto a noleggio; a la palmas consiglio vivamente il ristorante "allende" molto economico e buonissimo dove si possono gustare tapas e montaditos in un ambiente accogliente e alternativo!!!

“Super Service, Super Faclities, Super Staff!”

Das Sheraton Salobre bietet ein sehr gutes Preis Leistungs Verhältnis, die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und weisen kaum Gebrauchsspuren auf. Ūber ein paar Kalk Pflecken auf den Amateuren kann man absehen. Alle weiteren Facilites sind auch in einem guten Zustand, das Fitness Studio ist topp ausgestattet mit frischen Handtüchern etc, hat nur leider keine Fenster. Alle F&B Preise des Hotel sind fair für eine 5 Sterne Kategorie und die Qualität der Restaurants und des Room Service war auch sehr gut. Einzig und alleine die Fachkundigkeit des FO Personals ließ zu wünschen übrig. Ausserdem war der Service in der Beach Villa wenig freundlich, der Herr war nicht in der Lage zu Grüßen oder bitte und danke zu sagen. Die facilities in der Villa waren aber top! Die Lage auch! Das Hotel ist hauptsächlich ein Golf Resort und deshalb wirklich nicht besonders für Kinder geeignet, da wir aber im Urlaub auf schreiende Kinder liebend verzichten können ist das sehr gut! Kurzum, alle Mitarbeiter waren stets sehr bemüht und freundlich, Preis Leistung ist perfekt. Wir kommen wieder. Hierzu ist zu sagen, dass sowohl ich als auch mein Partner selbst im 5 Sterne Hotelmanagement tätig sind, und darum immer recht kritisch und in der Lage dinge zu bemerken die andere vielleicht nicht sehen. Bitte bedenken Sie, das ist ein Sheraton und kein Four Seasons!

“Sheraton Salobre Golf Resort & Spa”

Hotel molto bello, ottimo servizio, bellissime le piscine, in particolare quella situata all'undicesimo piano con acqua riscaldata, a sfioro, con vista su campo da golf da una parte e oceano dall'altra. Solo 5 gg di vacamza ma ne valeva la pena.

Area recommendations
Consiglierei di andare sulla spiaggia di Maspalomas passando attraverso le dune....come essere nel deserto.

“Un hotel impresionante.”

La verdad que he tenido la fortuna de haber estado en muchos hoteles Sheraton alrededor del mundo. Esté me ha sorprendido gratamente. Los espacios, la arquitectura la distribucion. Sus piscinas fántasticas la zona de camas balinesas es un lujo, la comida del desayuno es una maravilla y la cena es correcta. Las habitaciones muy amplias y prácticas y el equipo humano entrañable. Yo he estado una semana y ya estoy deseando volver. El spa es otra pequeña maravilla que esconde este hotel y sus piscinas, cada una con un ecanto diferente. Sólo puedo decir Chapeau!!!

“Mijd de Sheraton Salobre Golf Resort bij hevige regen !”

Eigenlijk is de Sheraton een prachtig (gelegen) hotel, dat daarenboven nog een inspanning doet om hip en modern te zijn. Jammer dat het gebouw niet bestand is tegen de hevige regenval van de laatste weken (el temporal, noemen ze het ginder). Overal in het hotel lekte het water door de beton en stonden er emmerstje en handdoeken om het hemelwater min of meer in goede banen te leiden. Verder vond ik de bestaffing van het hotel eerder aan de lage kant; al deden de druk bezette hotelpersoneelsleden echt hun best om het hun gasten naar hun zin te maken.

Area recommendations
De Salobre golfbaan, de beach van Maspalomas, de ruige westkust van het eiland (per auto), de spannende rit over de bergen naar het Noorden, de Bandama golfbaan vlak bij Las Palmas (in een uitgedoofde vulkaankrater), de visrestaurantjes in Puerto de Mogán, enz. Prima vakantieplek!
