“VERY GOOD HOTEL”

THER ARE TOW PROB. 1: THER ARE NO HEALTH CLUB 2: THERE ARE SOME SERFACE YOU SHOULD BUY FOR IT AND IT TACKES MOORE TIME AND UNCONVIENCE .THEY SHOULD CHARGE IT WITH ROOM MOORE COMFORTABEL

“This is not a 5 star hotel - even if it does get finished.”

The Hotel is not finished. It opened in Oct 2009. As of Christmas 2009 the gym is not open, the Spa is not open, they are still building all over the site. Even when it does get finished the Quality of the workmanship is poor. More 3 star resort rather than 5 star luxury. The food was good, although the only a la carte restaurant onsite was a 30ft x 15ft glass box in the corner of the lodge bar. Evening entertainment was dire - there isn't much else going on the Meloneras in the evening either. Night life is a short taxi ride away though. The hotel pools were good but there is a lack of space around the 2 heated pools. All pools are heated but there are are only 2 that are heated to a comfortable level when the weather is overcast. The rooms are comfortable but don't expect to sleep if it is windy outside - the wind whistles through the poorly designed balcony doors. Blew the ceilling tiles out on one of our rooms. The maintenance guys tried to fix this 3 times during our stay but no luck.

Area recommendations
Meloneras - the classy place in Gran Canaria but the night life can be dull.
When to go
Try to avoid Christmas time. If you are lucky and the weather is good then OK. If the weather is not so good then the hotel is a nightmare. The wind howls through the hotel. Everywhere is dark and depressing. No indoor activities.

“perfecto!”

Hemos pasado el puente de la constitución allí. Ha sido uno de los mejores hoteles en los que hemos estado. Estabamos en régimen de media pensión, la calidad de la comida excelente. El trato del personal maravilloso. Las piscinas, la habitación... genial! Super-recomendable!

“Cliente Satisfecho”

El hotel es muy bueno ,hay que destacar el servicio y de la gente que trabaja ahi . El desayuno es espectacular y la variedad de comida es de muy buena calidad. Esta muy bien ubicado y las estancias son nuevas y muy cómodas

El sur de Gran Canaria y los pueblos de Puerto Rico y Mogan es algo que no hay que dejar de ver
Outdoors or beach
La playa de Mas Palomas con las dunas es muy bonita, tambien esta la playa de Amadores en Puerto Rico

“splinternieuwe luxe afrikaanse stijl”

goed gelegen, perfecte service, opvallend vriendelijk, luxe wel een hoog pretparkgehalte, plastieken safari dieren in de verzorgde tuin aan het strand op wandelafstand van de duinen

“Baobab Costa Meloneras: Maspalomas, Gran Canaria”

Espectacular hotel, espectacular ambiente, increíbles piscinas y todo el personal encantador. Nos dieron una Junior Suite porque estaba el hotel completo cuando llegamos y la experiencia ha sido inmejorable. El bufet de desayunos una gozada...repetiremos seguro!!

“HOTEL BAOBAB, MASPALOMAS, GRAN CANARIA”

Un Hotel muy buen con un diseño y arquitectura diferente y interesante. Aunque no esta en primera linea de playa y carece de vistas, tiene unas piscinas muy amplias con playas artificiales y unos jardines amplias y excepcionales. Muy cerca de la playa andando y de las zonas comerciales de lujo de Costa Meloneras. El único problema que veo, con el Hotel es el nivel excesivo de ruido a partir de las 08.30-09.00 de la mañana debido a errores en el diseño (ruido de las puertas y las camareras moviendo las camas sobre los suelos de plaqueta)

“LOPESAN BAOBAB RESORT - GRAN CANARIA”

Ottimo hotel. Camere nuove, pulite e ben insonorizzate. Posizione buona vicino al mare e a un lungomare con ristoranti e bar. Consigliato.
