“Definately going back and have already told my freinds about it!”

Was worried that the 1980's photos on the website meant that it was run down and ready for the buldozers! Other reviews led us to take a chance. I'm so pleased we did. The whole complex is well maintained and well looked after. It is spotless and very clean. The location is fantastic, very close to the town and beach, tucked away enough to be very quiet. All rooms have balconies / terraces over looking the open sea and horizon. We could not afford to eat in a restaurant with simular views, so we didn't bother. Supermarket just around the corner. Dolphin trip well worth the money. We completely chilled out in the sun, did very little. That was the point of our trip and we managed to find the perfect place to do it at Ipanema Park.

“Good stay for a Good Price”

Nice, clean appartments in quiet part of Puerto Rico - Gran Canaria (Spain) Small, but very clean pool with enough sunbeds. You absolutely need a car for this destination.

“Relaxing child-friendly break”

Basic but well-appointed apartments. Very importantly it was cool in the evening and could get a good night's sleep. The pool was lovely, overlooking the harbour and always lots of sun-loungers available. Very friendly and helpful staff. Visit the tourist office for advice on what is on locally. We did not need a hire car, enjoyed using the local buses. Local supermarkets were expensive, so we shopped for fruit, vegetables and cheese at the local markets - highly recommend Puerto de Mogan and Aguinegan markets. Malpalomas, Playa de Ingles also worth a visit and dinner. Strawberries were fab! Best we have had in years. Steps to the resort were manageable, but not for the elderly or infirm. Restaurants all good, particularly the ones at the bottom of the steps and turn left. Take a boat trip to see the dolphins - it was worth every euro!

Traveller's tip
Use a shared airport transfer if you can. The taxi from the airport was 65 euros!!!

“Basic, clean, comfortable.”

Ipanema Park was an acceptable place to stay. Clean, comfortable beds (2 single beds). Went mid March, nice pool, too cold to swim in. Steps are a pain. Staff friendly and helpful. Would recommend this hotel for the over 50's. Im 30, and would not recommend Puerto Rico to any under the age of 40 (minimum). Younger age group stick to Playa de Ingles, much livelier with variety of evening entertainment. Very little entertainment on offer on beach front in Puerto Rico, apart 'egg and chip' style cafe's. Center, about 10 mins inland offers irish bars and Elvis impersonators....not my thing. Found Puerto Rico very sedate, lacking any atmosphere. I thought there might be some bars around the Marina, opposite hotel.....nothing really around this area. Nearby eating places were acceptable. Weather was lovely during our stay. Beaches were nearby, and very pleasant.

Traveller's tip
Don't go to Puerto Rico If you want Classy bars, or much night life. Would recommend ferry trip to Mogan, about half an hour away. Went on market day, plenty of stalls (a lot of tat really), picturesque place.

“neue, sehr saubere Zimmer, beste Lage in Puerto Rico”

Hotelanlage ist TOP wird aber wohl im Sommer 2012 in ein 4 Sterne Hotel umgewandelt und der Name zu Marina Bay View o. ä. umgewandelt. Beste Lage in Puerto Rico in Südhang. Schöner Pool direkt mit Meer und Hafenblick. Zimmer sehr geräumig und sehr sauber. Neue und hochqualitiative Einrichtung.

“hotel tres agreable”

hotel tres agreable, calme, bien situé. belle piscine. Personnel tres gentil et a l'ecoute. petits appartements indépendants avec terrasse. Tous ont vu sur la mer la chambre avec les 2 lits 1 personne: parfaite. Le 2ème couchage pour 2 est un canapé convertible: au bout de 15 jours, pas si confortable kitchenette pratique et suffisament equipee pour se faire à manger sur place. pas de chaines françaises à la télé service restauration peu developpé, supermarche de l'hotel tres petit, petite offre et chère, mais le tout pratique car sur place

maillot de bain, tongs pour la piscine et la plage baskets pour les promenade en montagne surtout pas de vetements chauds. En 15 jours: pas 1 goutte de pluie et des températures entre 27 et 31 degrés

tout est à négocier dans les magasins et sur les marchés. ne surtout pas acheter du 1er cout ou au prix affcihé. le plus souvent, il n'y a pas de prix et vous pouvez baisser le prix annoncé du tiers attention aux tentations de matériel electronique en tout genre. Vous pouvez acheter, mais verifiez bien ce que vous achetez avant de payer. vous allez etre beaucoup solicité

les plages sont petites car abritées dans des criques, mais surpeuplées ! Les transats et parassols qui sont à louer innondent la plage. Préférez la piscine de l'hotel

“Un appart'hôtel différent des autres”

Les avantages d'un appartement alliant les avantages d'un hôtel ! Nous étions indépendants avec notre petit duplex et nous avons bénéficié des avantages d'un hôtel : changement des draps et des serviettes tous les 2 jours, le ménage fait tous les jours, la vaisselle rangée, etc... Ne pas oublier la piscine avec vue sur la marina, une terrasse et chambre avec vue sur la mer. Les réceptionnistes étaient toujours disponibles afin de répondre à l'ensemble de nos questions (éléments à visiter, plages à proximité, etc...). Toutefois quelques éléments à améliorer : la propreté de la piscine pouvant laisser à désirer, les odeurs de fast-food le matin, des prix prohibitifs dans la supérette. En conclusion, c'est un établissement à recommander face aux gigantesques barres d'hôtels défigurant la côte. A saisir !

Area recommendations
Ne passez pas l'essentiel de votre temps sur les grands centres balnéaires du sud de l'île. Allez découvrir le centre de l'île (Tejeda, Cruz de Tejeda, Pozo de las Nieves, Teror, Santa Brigida, etc...), ainsi que le nord et l'ouest (Agaete, Mirador de Bàlcon, etc...) ! La location d'une voiture avec kilométrage illimité est indispensable (2000 km faits en 15 jours !). Faire attention à la conduite locale et privilégiez une assurance maximale en cas de sinistre, sinon la facture risque d'être salée !

“ipanema park good value for money”

Prettig hotel met gratis wifi bij de receptie. Kamers basic maar schoon en comfortabel. Prima ligbank en aparte slaapkamer. Keuken voldoende en er is ook een tosti apparaat en koffiezet apparaat. Balkon groot genoeg en mooi uitzicht over de oceaan. Personeel is beleefd en doen hun best voor je. Prima hotel met een goede prijs/kwaliteit verhouding

Maspalomas waar het allemaal gebeurt. Aanrader is Palmitos park en aqua land. Ook heel leuk is sioux city en playa de ingles. Ook een aanrader is Puerto de Mogan. Met de boot ben je er in een half uur.Hele leuke ervaring. Kapitein gooit brood overboord en water schuimt van alle vissen die het komen opeten.
Getting around
Prima busverbindingen en ze rijden op tijd. Taxi's zijn goedkoop en binnen een minuut heb je er een te pakken.

“Wunderschöner Blick über das Meer”

Das Hotel liegt an einem Steilhang, vom Pool und von jedem Zimmer aus hat man einen atemberaubenden Blick über das offene Meer und den Hafen. Das Hotel ist in den letzten Jahren renoviert worden, die Zimmer sind sauber, groß und schön eingerichtet. Das Hotel ist bestens ausgestatten mit Aufzug, Restaurant, Lobby, Spielzimmer, Supermarkt... über ein Treppe neben dem Hotel kommt man innerahalb von 5-10 Minuten zum Strand, Supermarkt, Minigolf, Restaurants, Bars usw.

Maspalomas - wunderschöner langer Sandstrand, mit den berühmten Dünen Las Palmas - Hauptstadt, eine Reise lohnt sich, sehr schöne und pulsierende Stadt Puerto de Mógan - ein ehemaliges Fischerdorf, mit schöner Architektur
