“Can't wait to go back again.”

This was our second holiday with friends in Gran Canaria at Hotel Neptuno and next year we are going again. Convenient hotel location direct access to Yumbo Center, gay friendly that was our main reason to choose the hotel. Only adults. Fantastic breakfast and dinner. Very friendly staff, clean, very comfortable rooms.

“Excellent location in Gran Canaria!”

The hotel is great overall, great pool area with lots going on there! it´s always quite full of people! so if you´re planning to stay in the hotel for the day, make sure you get some chairs early or they will all be taken by mid morning. The hotel has quite confortable rooms with a built in radio and spearkers that was a very nice touch!. get a room on a high floor as the views are magnificent!. The hotel is so close to playa del ingles and it´s such a beautiful place down there! walk there in less than 15 minutes and you´ll enjoy it! it´s so worthy!. Make sure you rent a car to explore the islands. Don´t miss Amador Beach! is sooo beautiful!! the views just getting there are amazing! don´t miss it!. The dinner room can get real busy during the summer, so make sure to get down early to get a table fast and not wait for one for a while. It´s right next to the Yumbo Center which is full of entertainment for a great night out! don´t miss it! there´s even a private door from the hotel to go there with your own room key!. Overall is a great hotel in Gran Canaria!.

“Excellent in every way”

The hotel was centrally located with a convenient entrance to the adjacent Yumbo centre. The fact that it was an over 18 hotel meant that the place always seemed calm whether by the pool, in the public areas or in the restaurant. The staff were extremely professional and hard working but maintained a friendly relationship with guests. In the restaurant there was always a good choice of food cooked to order as well as an extensive buffet. There was good variety over our 11 day stay and we never chose to eat away from the Neptuno. The rooms were comfortable. There was no noise from the late bars and discos in the Yumbo. Having visited the resort for over 20 years this is a hotel we would definitely return to.

Overall a very positive experience, contrary to some of the feedback we read prior to going on holiday. Hotel was of a very good standard, professionally run and consistent high level of service throughout the week we were there. Enjoyed the pool area, foam mats and towels supplied for sunbeds, very comfortable. Restaurant food good, with very helpful and attentive staff around. Didn't like the twin bed set up in the room

“A concrete council block with a cream painted facade”

If you are german and used to living in municipal style accommodation, Neptuno is the place for you. You will find many of your fellow country men, competing for sunbeds with early morning towels and the reception staff speak your language and will help you. If you are English and want good style accommodation in a good location, DO NOT GO THERE. It is dead opposite the busy Yumbo Center in Playa Ingles and the staff don't care about your experience.

Hotel is in terrific location with a very helpful and wonderful staff, especially Pedro at the Reception - - my thanks to him. Meals were varied, plentiful and excellent in all respects. In choosing this hotel I followed other travellers reviews in the Internet - - my thanks to all of you ... You were right about this fantastic hotel.

“Near Yumbo”

We've been very surprised that the hotel was so close to famous Yumbo Centre. Using your magnetic key you could open gate back in the swimming pool to get a short cut to Yumbo. The hotel quite clean, room service very good, people at reception very friendly. Swimming pool clean with parasols and beds and each person have their separate towel for use at swimming pool. There is free bus from hotel to beaches and back - Playa del Ingles and Faro Maspalomas (operated by Yajobus). Unfortunately there was no bus to the airport, but you can take taxi or bus. Breakfast quite good - lots of bread and rolls, cereals, yoghurt, fresh cheese and ham, salami, vegetables, fruits, you can order fried eggs and/or bacon and make some toasts. Remember this is Spain and they are allowed to smoke even at the swimming pool and that was a bit disgusting as for non smokers. It's +18 recommended hotel, not adults only, so sometimes you can find families with small kids.

Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Das Frühstück bietet alles, was man sich wünscht, von frischem Obst, verschiedenen Yoghurts, Müslisorten und Brot/ Belag bis warmen Pancakes, Grilltomaten, frisch bereiteten und mit selbst zusammengestellten Zutaten Omletts. Das Abendessen ist von sehr guter Qualität von frischen Vorspeisen/Salaten/Suppen über taglich wechselnde Hauptgerichte+Beilagen und Käseauswahl bis zur leckeren Dessertauswahl. Wir waren 12 Tage da und haben nicht zweimal das Gleiche gegessen! Die Zimmer sind renoviert und sauber mit schönem Bad und Balkon. Der Service ist freundlich und aufmerksam. Die Lage ist direkt am Yumbo-Center nicht die ruhigste, aber das weiß man vorher. Dafür kann man den ganzen Tag in Ruhe und (nichts gegen Kinder im Allgemeinen) ohne Kinderlärm am Pool verbringen. Wir fahren seit Jahren nach G.C. und waren schon in vielen Hotels und Bungalow-Anlagen, werden aber das nächste Mal wieder im Neptuno reservieren.

L'hotel neptuno è un ottima sistemazione a circa 800 metri dalla spiaggia ed ha il servizio navetta. cena a buffet con prodotti di buona qualità, stanze silenziose, l'unico appunto la pulizia della camera veramente scarsa.In sette notti hanno cambiato le lenzuola solo una volta:per un albergo a quattro stelle a me sembra veramente poco!tutto il resto ottimo:cortesia del personale, attrezzature e manutenzione dell' albergo buona.
