We booked this hotel, because we got such a good deal on expedia, we got 5* for the price of most 4* holidays. At first site the H10 Playa Meloneras Palace is impressive, you enter the reception area and cannot fail to be impressed. The reception staff were extremely friendly and helpful,we arrived just in time to go down for evening meal so they fast tracked us to the restaurant and we completed the check in after we had eaten. We were allocated a room in the 200's, I was expecting a pool or sea view as I had emailed the hotel a few weeks before our arrival requesting this because it wasn't clear on the booking options. Instead we ended up with a view of a hedge! We immediately asked if we could be moved but the reception staff explained that the hotel was completely full, and informed us that we did have a view of the golf course. This was true if you peered through the hedge you could just about see some greenery.
Having said all that it did not detract from a superb holiday for 10 nights in October. The hotel staff are brilliant and are willing to make your stay very special. The facilities in the hotel are second to none, there are 4 pools to choose from and there was never any problem getting sunbeds.
The food was excellent with a choice that could not fail to please everyone, Enrique was especially nice at breakfast.
