We booked this hotel for an out of season break for four adult males. The hotel staff were very friendly, the rooms were clean and functional. It is quite a long way up the hill so you either need to be comfortable with climbing multiple sets of steps or will need to use taxis which are plentiful and cheap. I would happily stay here again.

After a long tiring flight and resort transfer on arrival at reception i was met with blank stares by 2 female receptionists.A manager arrived after a few minutes and said they were full and enquired had i been contacted by expedia..he didnt offer any solution either.I produced my email confirmations and pointed out my details which were on HIS clipboard..They overbooked but the fact i had my confirmations and paid 3 weeks in advance i wasnt been fobbed off. A few minutes passed and then he just handed me my room cards and pointed in its general direction,offering me no explanation/apology.The hotel is built right on the beach which is fab. it has great facilities but now could do with refurbishment..The staff in the resturant and cleaners were very friendly/helpfull and only reminded me about the lack of service at reception.we had a very relaxing stay at the hotel.playa del cura is a very quite and isolated location.The hotel resturant is great but is the only one of standard available.Our last day we were offerd a courtesy room to shower and change before our transfer to the airport, both of them pointed out numerous times it was only available to us for 15mins which i thought was ludicrous for 2 people to shower and my wife to dry her hair.Overall we had a lovely holiday there ,But my advice to hotel managment would be take a good long look at the level of service / courtesy provided to guests by the duty manager and his reception staff, and yes dont overbook their room !
Lovely hotel, right next to the beach, very clean and tidy. They even surprised me with a bottle of wine in the hotel room and a card saying happy birthday which made the holiday extra special.
Would definitely recommend.

This is our 2nd visit to the neptuno, it's a lovely hotel right in the middle of all that's going on and just a short walk to the beach. Staff are very polite and always willing to help. Hotel was always clean and tidy including our room. We stayed all inclusive, there was a good selection of tasty food on offer and branded drinks all included. There is a very helpful lady called Maria that works in a excursion shop ( left out the hotel and 200m up the road. ) who we booked a couple of trips with and would definitely recommend the supercat boat trip. Will definitely be coming back.
Just returned from a weeks stay at the Rui Palmeras .From our arrival which was around 10pm (a cold buffet had been put aside for us) to our departure I can honestly say that ALL of the staff we encountered could not do enough to make our stay a memorable one. They really know how to provide a high standard of service. The facilities are spotless including the pool area. The food is really good and there is plenty of variety. The hotel is situated a 5 minute walk from the beach and 10 minutes from the Yumbo Shopping Centre.
The only negative comment I could make would be that we had to pay for internet usage which in many hotels we have stayed in is usually free of charge however it did not impact on our holiday.
Prices for drinks and bar food is actually cheaper than the bars and restaurants and therefore encourages you to spend more time at the hotel.
We stayed for one week at this wonderful hotel, a fantastic location, superb staff who were very courteous, helpful and accommodating on all of our needs. I would recommend this hotel evey time and cannot wait to go back. Well done to all the staff for making our holiday a wonderful experiance.
A brilliant 5 nights in Marina Suites. The hotel was very close to Puerto Rico beach. The hotel staff were very helpful. Cocktails and food at the pool bar were very nice too! The infinity pool was the best thing about the place, which overlooked the ocean. The suite itself was very spacious and had all facilities required. We stayed on the 4th floor with a great view from the balcony. The room was kept clean and was very modern. If I come back to Gran Canaria, I would definitely stay here again!
