“Don't do it”

24 hour reception, no way, arrived to find paper on window saying the apartment open, key inside. Hot water lasted max 90 seconds, furnishings were dirty stained and smelt musty,cooking utensils filthy, no telephones. All in all a complete waste of money there are better class apartments available for less than this cost.

“Apartamentos Roslara di Puerto Rico (Gran Canaria)”

Gli appartamenti in generale sono molto spaziosi ed hanno una bella vista sul mare e sulla piscina spaziosa; inoltre hanno una terrazza veramente ampia sulla quale potersi rilassare o consumare i pasti. La posizione è un pò scomoda poichè si trova a 10 minuti in macchina e 30 minuti a piedi dalla spiaggia: è possibile raggiungere le varie località attraverso i servizi pubblici (esclusa la notte, poichè non vi sono servizi pubblici notturni) o i taxy che hanno prezzi ridotti rispetto a quelli italiani. Si trova a 1 ora da Las Palmas (capitale dell'isola) ed è facilamente raggiungibile tramite un pullman che porta direttamente là da Puerto rico. Se dovessi ripetere il viaggio comunque cambierei sistemazione in modo da essere più vicino ai centri commerciali e alla spiaggia (a meno che non si porti con sè la proprio automobile).

Area recommendations
Consiglio di far visita di un giorno intero (da mattina a sera) alla capitale Las Palmas. Come spiagge, ci sono diverse possibilità ma in genere sono tutte molto belle con mare pulito: noi abbiamo visitato la spiaggia di Puerto Rico, Playa Amadores e la tipica località dove ci sono dune immense di Maspalomas. La sera è possibile recarsi nei differenti centri commerciali, dove ci sono varie possibilità dal mangiare al post-serata, come discoteche e locali notturni in genere.
Getting there
E' consigliabile prendere un solo volo diretto, piuttosto che fare molti scali.
What to pack
Il clima è piuttosto mite: di giorno fa molto caldo, quindi consiglierei di portarsi molte magliette e costumi. La sera e la notte diventa più fresco, e quindi è opportuno portarsi 2-3 maglie di cotone non troppo pesanti da mettersi addosso.
Dining
Assaggiate tutti i piatti locali e i prodotti tipici che in Italia non sono presenti, anche nei supermercati è possibile trovare veramente le più svariate pietanze.
Nightlife
Recatevi nei centri commerciali, sono pieni di negozi aperti fino alle 23,30-00.00 circa e dopo si può passare il resto della serata nei vari locali dislocati proprio all'interno di questi centri commerciali all'aperto.
Outdoors or beach
Tutte le spieggie sono belle, sia come sabbia che come mare. Particolare è la spiaggia di Maspolamas per le sue dune di sabbia altissime.
