Lovely surrounds, peaceful and we went off season between the lull before the end of the Brit season and the beginning of the Scandinavian season. The hotel seemed half full which we were not complaining about as ample sun beds and the restaurant was half empty so had the pick of the lot.
Pluses, nice setting, construction and use of marble and stone gave it that 4 star appeal. Smart and clean and decour seemed new and no signs of decline, damage or wear or tear on the fixtures and fittings. Plenty of choice of food and the all inclusive included glasses or plastic cups.
Even the flowerbeds were spotless, as I witnessed the Gardner one early morning pruning and then sweeping the flower beds so that the texture of the soil made it look like a pristine sand bunker on a top class golf course.
The staff were pleasant and helpful, well turned out and smart in appearance and command of english excellent.
Rooms were massive and a large balcony area to boot. Bathroom was large with a unusually large bath with shower attachment.
Some nice extras were the accoutrements such as shaving gel, toothbrush and toothpaste, to a comb and sewing kit.
All in all excellent holiday and for a bit extra definitely a step up from its sister hotel directly across which is a 3 star, downside to me I couldn't find anywhere to watch the sports so a trip to Mogan (beautiful fishing village and worth the trip only 5 mins) or Puerto Rico ( bit of a Blackpool) had to be endured :-)
I had a great time here. I was staying by myself but visiting friends who were on the island at the same time. Their place was booked so I stayed here. The bar facility by the pool is great - I went up to buy a drink and noticed the taps facing outwards. To my surprise, everything was included and for the price I paid, I was honestly shocked. Amstel on tap - great wine and full bar service. The buffet was excellent and a different spread each day and night. They also gave an option to deliver breakfast to your room at no extra cost. The room itself was large by Spanish standards and well appointed. Great shower, OK bed - a little hard for my liking but that is more of a personal preference. They had free shuttles to the beach, entertainment and so much to do within walking distance. This is probably the best value I have ever gotten out of a hotel.

"Lovely hotel, very attentive staff, close to beach"
A very pleasant weeks stay. The hotel was very comfortable and the staff were very attentive. The buffet was very good and well organised, but I did not need Cava for breakfast ! The short walk to the beach through the gardens was pleasant. I did not experience the pool - too many sunbeds very close together.

This was our first visit to the canaries? My wife and I are retired and just wanted a quiet week in the sun. The hotel was ideal. Most guests were older, mainly German.
The staff couldn't have been nicer, particularly with disabled guests and the food was fabulous.
The rooms are a little dated but all have a sea view and have everything we needed.
The grounds open on to a promenade with walks in either direction and access to a nice beach.
At the back is a large shopping complex with many supermarkets and restaurants.
The pool is large, spotless and warm and the pool side bar and restaurant is a delight.
We shall return!

The Caserio delivers what it promises, a clean, comfortable, functional hotel a short walk from the shops and restaurants of Playa des Ingles. I thoroughly enjoyed my last stay there (I have been twice before). It isn't the height of luxury, but offers everything needed for a really good holiday hotel -.and everything is clean and works. The beds are quite hard - which suits me as a back sufferer. The real highlight is the staff, who were incredibly friendly and go above and beyond to help out. As good a place to spend a week away from it all as any I have been to.
