I reserved this hotel because it's near the airport. Unfortunately there are TWO airports and I arrived at the other one! A $75 USD cab ride later, I arrived at the hotel rather late. The lone manager was long gone to bed and there was nothing to be done except sit on a couch in the lobby all night long. In the morning the manager finally let me in the room for a quick change and shower, offering no apologies or other consideration. Sure it's my own fault, but ... they could do better. Buyer beware.
I would recommend this hotel if a) You just want somewhere basic to sleep for the night. b) You dont mind the 10 minute bus journey to/from the centre of Gothenburg. Expedia has it as a 4 start hotel but in my opinion a 3 star would be more appropriate.
Room was a bit tired with marks on walls, also shower stuck between hot + very hot.
Reception was largely un-manned, staff weren't overly helpful (however staff in petrol station next door were great for advice/directions)
Short walk (2-3 mins) to Gron Express (bus to + from Gothenburg), transport very good!
Overall not bad considering Gothenburg prices, good if you just want a base to shower/sleep, maybe not suitable for lone travellers.

We stayed for a couple of nights so we could explore a little of Gothenburg and be close to the ferry for our return trip to Denmark. The hotel itself is in an old, enormous warehouse and it did feel a little eerie as we didn't run across many other guests whilst walking around the level our room was on! There was also some refurbishment taking place though we didn't suffer any disruption as a result. Having said that, it would have been nice to be have been informed beforehand about the work that was happening. The in house restaurant was OK though the menu choice was very limited really. The breakfast buffet choice was extensive and catered for most people's requirements. I also have to thank the staff for being extremely helpful in advising us on how to travel to the Botanical Gardens by checking out and printing a schedule of bus and tram timetables for us as well as selling us the requisite day passes for the public transport. The hotel itself is very well connected to the public transport system so it is quite a good base to use for exploring the city itself without having to be in the very centre of things.
