“good value”

The hotel was in good shape and the room was clean. It was very quiet, considering it's right on the interstate and filled up for the night. As a single woman traveler, I felt very safe. The breakfast was okay; there was a waffle maker and toaster, but no other hot foods. Overall, a satisfactory stay.

Area recommendations

The hotel is surrounded by a huge outlet mall. The quaint downtown area is about 3-4 miles away.

“A Bad experience”

The walls were thin. You could hear what was going on in the next room. The morning staff is rude. The mattresses were thin. The curtains had to be pushed into the window so the air could get into the room. Would not stay there again.

“Very Impressive”

This hotel was EXCELLENT!!! My family and I will stay here again, no doubt about it. We are super clean and super picky and this place exceeded our expectations. If you are concerned about clean bedding then this Super 8 is for you as they have completely encased their box springs and mattresses in zippered covers, which was extremely impressive. No bed bugs here and yes we checked thoroughly. The management staff and team members are on top of their jobs and are to be commended for doing such an excellent job. Thank you so much for making our stay so comfortable and worry free. I will recommend the Super 8 in Smithfield anytime and like I said, my family and I will stay there again.

“overnight stay”

My husband and i were very pleased with our stay. We were not happy to see that they didn't have any ramps to bring your suitcases up to the doors. And another thing was that we got a nonsmoking room,but when we got up in the morning to leave, and you walked out of the room you could really smell the smoke in the hallway. We let the person know about it in the morning when we checked out, and she said she couldn't smell it, but then again we could smell it in the lobby.

“Mostly fine”

The room and service were fine and the breakfast was the expected continental breakfast. The staff responded quickly to our requests for extra pillows and towels. Stores and restaurants were plentiful and nearby. The only complaint was that the mattress was not firm, which is what I prefer, so I had a bit of a back ache in the morning. Other than that it was fine for a stay on our way south on route 95.
