Very adequate, close to the civic center, meetings

Posted 28-Sep-2014
Pros: see above
Cons: coffee maker, soap and shampoo should be provided
Location: it was downtown and we had down town things to do.
didn't spend a lot of time in the room, it was comfortable and clean. Central to activities in town. I would stay there again. It was quiet and restful.

Motel in Golden BC

Posted 17-Sep-2014
Pros: Handy to highway - quiet
Cons: Re-caulk the bathtub
Location: Covered bridge across the river that is located in town centre was interesting to view
Older motel but clean and tidy. The caulking around the bathtub/shower was in need of replacing.

Good value

Posted 11-Sep-2014
Pros: Clean, good beds, quiet, central location.
Cons: We didn't have a fridge in the room.
Location: Central location, close to some restaurants.
Just stayed one night but found the Rondo motel lived up to the reviews. It was clean and quiet.even if it definitely needs an update. Doesn't look to great on the outside (looked old & beat-up) .No bad smell when we opened the door. It's well off the main Hwy 95, so no road noise. It has a great location within walking distance of some outstanding restaurants and other services.

Cons: It needs upgrading.
Location: Within walking distance to shopping.
We had a fair experience. Will likely book again for one night.

Meh.

Posted 26-Aug-2014
Pros: Location.
Cons: Needs some freshening up and out of the 90's.
Location: I visited on a Sunday. Nothing happening in town save for a great comic/video store.
Walked in, nothing extra was here. Room smelled, the deadbolt didn't fully close, the television is old and just the bare essentials such as just soap with no shampoo/conditioner, etc. Clerk was very polite and helpful. Fine for a one night stay, nothing more. Overpriced, should be around the $60-75 at the most. Location was good as right downtown.

Old, loud and stinky.

Posted 22-Aug-2014
The room was clean but smelt like stale smoke though it was a non-smoking room. I could hear my neighbours TV as if I were in their room watching it. The motel was clearly old and needed some maintenance. But for $100 bucks it is about what you might expect.

Not an option again

Posted 16-Aug-2014
Pros: No comment here
Cons: See above
Summary of our experience: -the room shed an unpleasant smell -the bathroom pipes made really loud sounds -air conditioning fan was very loud because it was also broken -and we would advise staying away from room 19 - the mattress has a big rip in it. Ewwwwwwww!!!!!
