The Rondo Motel was great for me. Big room, heater worked well and fast, great hot water and water pressure, very comfortable bed, tea machine, and they have ESPNs Sportscentre with Jay Onrait. The place wasn't perfectly clean but the place was super comfortable. I'll definitely be heading back. Room #30 has a great view of the ski area.

It’s a budget hotel. You get what you pay for. Clean sheets but towels need replacing. Falling apart and stained. Bathrooms also need an update.

Mold all around the bath tub, broken bathroom door handle, dirty. There was a ribbon tied on where the entance/exist to one side of the outdoor stairs. Check in was 3pm, room was not ready by 4. there were a multitude of flies in my room, the room was dirty.

ha! booked this on expedia, but when i got there the hotel said they had no rooms. and then further told me that the reason they did not get the booking was because all internet etc was down all over Golden. Yet, when i went to another hotel, wifi worked, no problem. I dont know who was at fault here (expedia or hotel), but this left a very bad impression. Particularly because i was an already stressed evacuee from Kelowna.

It was very hard to communicate with the property management. The phone automatically went to the answering machine which was full. I had to look for staff to check in and communicate with. It appears they are in the process of renovations but much work is still needed. However, the room did its job and for a lower price than other motels.

The first room was dirty and the bed looked slept in. The Manager was nice and changed our room. It was better but the vinyl floor was dirty. The room was ok for an overnight passing through, but still way overpriced

The room smelled very strongly of cigarette smoke. It’s old but it appears they have made an attempt to update parts of it. Lots of highway construction workers in the rooms around us which made us uncomfortable because they were drinking a lot.

The price of the room was very expensive at over $300 per night. The furniture is chipped and worn, there are many surface areas that have stains such as the walls and cupboard doors, and the doorways themselves are quite dirty. The outdoor barbecue which is near the room, looks to be convenient but on inspection I don't think it has been cleaned in the longest time and I couldn't use it.

we had a nightly stay there. we were late than the checking time so I called few times motel number but no answer and vm was full. so I reached expedia chat who gave us some peace of mind by confirming the checkin window is 3pm to 10pm. it is an old but renovated building within town and we stayed in room19 on level 1 which was clean. there was no fire alarm but a fire extinguisher was in kitchen. kitchen had a clean stove/clean small fridge/clean small microwave, dish soap and scrubber/dustbin. washroom was missing a dustbin. one of the table lamp was not working but not an issue as others were working. 2 queen size beds with clean bed sheets. floor was making noise when you walk on some places, nice furniture/TV/wifi/instant coffee pouches/reusable cups and kettle. AC we did not used as was not needed. we got room8 first but the bed sheets were having some stains so we talked to ownwer(a nice chinese dude possibly.) and he immediately gave us key for room18. door sign says no smoking but noted that some guests were smoking. parking was there and free. no damage or theft happened to vehicle. its a small town and you can find couple of vegetarian Indian food places 10 mins away. library and bylae office across the street. nice walk trails by river. overall it was ok place to stay I would say. because in peak season it was the only cheapest option and I am happy with my stay.
