Disappointing

Posted 29-Sep-2014
Cons: Cleanliness, soundproofing.
The carpet was dirty. I was next to outside stairs and could hear every step someone made, the noise from water use in adjoining rooms, sounded like it was right in my own room. Television was a tube style with no remote.

Older renovated hotel

Posted 03-Sep-2014
Pros: It was easy to find as it was the first hotel as you drive down the hill, just don't miss the corner.
Cons: Finish renovating the rooms so all the rooms are good. :D
Location: Gondolla, skiing, biking, hiking, walking, enchanted forest, skytrek adventures, radium & canyon hotsprings, ghost town, all within driving
We had a renovated room. The floor had no carpet and was super clean! Nice to stay on an uncarpetted floor. The staff are super friendly! Parking was a little less than desirable but it was very busy. The pool is good but chlorine was a little strong. A good stay and the price was awesome! Just a normal regular room nothing special but perfect for when you don't want to stay in your room all day. Clean and good place to stay. We were able to drive to so many different attractions some within minutes others within an hour and a bit. Fun for families, couples-anyone. Awesome Comic Book/Card/everything store in town Bizarre Entertainment---they rock! Worth a stop in for sure :D

Convenient location, just for over night sleep

Posted 02-Sep-2014
Pros: Location
Location: A Chinese restaurant right next door.
Convenient location. Good for over night sleep if you find hotel in Banff is too expensive.

Not terrible, but could be better.

Posted 02-Sep-2014
Pros: Reliable internet
Cons: Hot water
Pretty much what you would expect from a budget hotel. The biggest disappointment, however was that there was no hot water. The water in the shower never got above luke warm. Everything else was ok. Rooms were clean. Bed was comfortable enough. Internet was good.

Don't waste your money.

Extremely overpriced and nothing worked: bedside lamp, blow dryer, phone, shower head, hairs in the shower....overall I would never stay here again if we weren't so desperate for a bed to sleep in that night.

Smelled like stale cigarettes

Cons: Cleaner. Lots of hair left in bathroom and in bed.
Room was okay but not asthma friendly. Would not stay here again.

Basic

Posted 28-Aug-2014 on Hotels.com
If you are tired on a long drive and need a place to rest it's ok. The basic room had a small fridge, microwave, kettle and coffee maker so you could eat in . It was a little dusty and the bathroom could definitely have been cleaner. It's basic accommodation. Nothing fancy about the d├ęcor.

Product support Western Canada Genie

Posted 25-Aug-2014 on Hotels.com
Room is falling apart. Holes is the sheets, coffee expired a year ago. Stains on the towels. I travel for work all over western Canada and I will never stay here again. No one was even there in the morning to check out. Brutal!!!!!
