Pros: Nothing
Cons: Efficiency of staff, cleanliness of hotel
The room was not clean. The staff took lot of time at every step from check in to service.

Great location

Posted 22-Dec-2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel located in the southern beaches of Goa, which have very nice sandy beaches that are not over-crowded, and which are pretty clean (only saw a few cigarette stubbs thrown in the sand,). Hotel staff were friendly, courteous and very helpful. Felt safe as there are plenty of security guards. Hotel food was really good but also try the beach huts which are a great place to hang out with a drink enjoying the climate and surroundings.

A great choice for a relaxing time

Posted 08-Nov-2009
We stayed at this hotel for 4-nights in late October 2009. I booked the accommodation on the basis of wanting a peaceful relaxed time prior to starting an organised 10-day trip of the Golden Triangle The hotel was very good Beautiful gardens Rooms were clean with good facilities Restaurants provided ample opportunities to experience curries at their best. The buffet option in the main restaurant was excellent value for an 'all inclusive price'. Eat & drink as much as you want for 13pounds. The staff in the restaurant were very pleasant however the same couldn't be said for the reception staff. A short walk of about 50mtrs through the hotel grounds found the beach. The phrase 'this goes on for miles' aptly sums it up In either direction you could barely see a soul - very quiet except for one beach bar that we utilised on one or two occasions This hotel suited our purposes, but if you are looking at a longer stay & want more 'action' then this place won't fit the bill. Outside on the main drag through the village are only a small number of shops, bartering is a must as we found similar items cheaper There isn't a great deal to do other than get a taxi and drive to somewhere else. The area did feel isolated with entertainment focussed only at the hotel. In brief - excellent accommodation but if you want busy nightlife & markets then the North is for you.

How could this get a 4* rating? Not impressed

Posted 25-Sep-2009
As first impressions are lasting impressions the hotel was playing catchup from the get go. When we arrived no one helped us with our bags to the reception. At check in we were barely given a second glance as if there were more important things for the staff to do, though the manageress was very polite when we met her. The bed was a double not the identified king bed and the standard was more comparable to a 2*. Some staff ok but many were surly and unfriendly. Staff were unable to give information about the local area. The in room hotel information indicated that you could call reception for them to confirm your flight details, but was at check out realised that we charged us for the service! The lobby area offered 2 pool tables that were old and needed re felting. I would never return to this hotel
