Basically, it is a very small hotel; however, some rooms seem to be larger than others. Guests were very noisy, and complaining to the front desk did not resolve the issue. Breakfast, is continental (no hot food) but it is all you can eat with good Italian coffee. The mattress was in extreme poor condition, the metal springs were poking at me not matter what part of the mattress you use, I think they served their purpose and needs to be replaced.

We arrived at 11:00 a.m and I had emailed and called and talked to the staff about our early arrival. I was assured our room would be ready. We paid to have a room with a balcony overlooking the ocean with one full size bed. When we arrived we were told by the lady at the front desk that our room was not ready. I said okay when will it be ready? She replied that check in is 2:00.
I explained about my email and phone call and she said :"Well you talked to Expedia and they don't know the hotel rules." I told her that I had not called Expedia, I had called the hotel. I asked if the room was unoccupied and she said yes. I asked if she could have them clean our room first. We were told we would have to wait until 2:00 or we could have a room with 2 single beds now. We took that room instead but were charged the same price as for the bigger bed.
In our room, one lamp was twisted sideways and falling off the wall but the room was clean. That night we used the extra blankets because it was cold. The next day they took them out of our room. When we asked about it at the front desk, there was not a positive response but rather ho-hum. The manager did come out and take care of it.
The breakfast has gone way down in quality (we've stayed here before) so we ate in the bar each morning and we had lunch there one afternoon. The bar staff was fabulous and the food good. The maid service was good as well.
My wife lived 27 years in Lloret so we know the culture & aren't happy.

we stayed for 9 nights. it was the noisiest hotel that we have ever encountered. outside the hotel, during the night when one wants to sleep, were teenagers and drunkards screaming and talking extremely loud without any consideration for the occupants of the hotels.
the television in the room had a few stations. German, french spanish, russian, and bbc world. five davs later, bbc world did not work. we complained to the staff and three days later, a couple of men looked at the television, they realised that a part was broken from the satellite.
we only had one day left. it was terrible service and should have been dealt with as soon as possible ,since it was the only channel we could understand.
pool was extremely small. you had to do so many laps back and forth. no cooling system such as fan or airconditioning.
"Great hotel for both - young people and families."
This hotel is in the very heart of the centre of the town. There are many bars and clubs just outside the hotel. Very close to the beach (about 5min walk). I have stayed with my 2 daughters (9 and 17) for 10 days. They try to alocate (depends from availability) all young and "noisy" people on the bottom floors and give a bit more quiet rooms on the top for families. Despite quite loud and very alive neighborhood it was quiet in the room after closing the door to the terrace. Rooms are equipped with air conditioning very cleaned and well maintained. Interior is a bit outdated - I would say late '70 but in good conditions. Reception staff is very friendly and very helpful. They are making an effort and seem care about guests.
I can surely recommend this hotel for short and long stay. It brings good memories.
Location is great - just on the limit of the tourist area, minutes walking to any store, restaurant or the beach, while being quite. In addition, the Casino is just under the hotel itself.
Rooms and hotel are renovated, pool is great and very nice restaurants, professional staff, free WiFi.
Parking is expensive, 18EU per night, while you may find free parking near by.
The hotel is inaccessible directly from the road. Entrance requires quite a lot of walking (arround the casino and the park that surrounds the hotel).
