“Very impressed with the room and service provided by this hotel.”
The rooms were decorated to a high standard and well maintained. The beds were very comfortable and rooms spacious. We had requested joining rooms with easy access for a disabled child and elderly mother, all of which were met by the hotel. Although the hotel was busy we were very pleasantly surprised by lack of noise from the corridor and outside. This made for a very restful night sleep. Breakfast was fantastic and most enjoyable with a variety of choice.

Typically modern style hotel. Hotels like this are often bland and boring but the relaxed warmth of the staff raises it to another level. Well placed for Cheltenham, Gloucester and south cotswolds but a £15 taxi into town if you do not want to drive.
“Q - quality stay”
Having search the internet for a hotel in the cotswolds we decided upon the Cheltenham Chase because of the positive reviews. So, here's another. Hotel was modern and clean. Staff friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was what you'd hope for from a top hotel. Facilities excellent. We like hotels with swimming pools, but sometimes the photos can be mis-leading and the pool is nearly a bath! This hotels pool is lovely size. We would recommend this hotel to all. 50/50 split between business and leisure users.
“It ticked all the boxes”
Ideal location for touring the area. Very friendly staff, (especially the Receptionists). Excellent breakfast buffet.
“Beautiful Countryside Location”
The property is set on the very fringe of the Gloucester/Cheltenham metro area so there is little traffic and no city noise. As is typical in Europe, hotel rooms have paper thin walls so hall and neighbor noise was an occasional issue. If you need to sleep past 8 AM make sure you ask for a room away from the maid's closet, you hear them working at 8 AM sharp every morning.

Really nice hotel
“A bit disappointing”
Excellent hotel apart from the noise. We were in an interconnecting room and we can hear the noise from next door talking and television. There were also constant banging of doors- mainly from the housekeeping staff (not ideal when you want to rest). Disappointed not to have real scrambled eggs at breakfast (instead of the powered mixture).
“Top spot in Cotswolds”
The Cheltenham Chase was a refreshing oasis of service and hospitality after a couple of bad experiences on our drive south from Scotland. It has all the conveniences, helpful staff and a great location just outside charming Cheltenham. What a pity that my country lost the Ashes soon after we checked in, otherwise a perfect evening.
