Handy for M5. Clean modern rooms and helpful staff. Breakfast adequate (buffet style). 'Bumble Bee' pub next door, good food and reasonably priced. Definitely recommend for short stay.

Very convenient for motorway. No traffic noise disturbance. Great pub for food next door. Great buffet breakfast.

The receptionist was extremely helpful and at breakfast the next day, although she was literally running around to try and keep up with supplies and crockery for the mad rush, she was still very polite and pleasant. The room was as expected and adequate and if I had to make one small complaint, there weren't enough milk cartons in the room. I am sure if I had asked at reception I would have been able to get some more though. I would use this hotel again and the pleasant staff made all the difference!

“Excellent hotel with great service”

Great service and very friendly staff. Hotel could do with air conditioning and better maintenance of the air extraction in the bathrooms. However, an excellent hotel in an excellent location for a great price.

“Value for money”

Good value for money if you are not looking for a luxurious stay. Staff are very accomodating and pleasant. Rooms are basically equiped and comfortable. Limited TV channels and no iron/iron board in room but this can be requested and brought to you quite quickly. Breakfast is basic but sufficient and tasty although lowly stocked so often had to wait for replenishing. Located away from the city centre with no sign of a bus route so a car is recommended. Next door to a pub/restaurant which serve good food.

Easy to find, clean & friendly hotel!! Free breakfast was more than substantial. Lovely pub right next door serving reasonable priced meals perfect after a long day travelling!! Only downside was pricey WiFi (£12 for 24 hours)!! Would definitely stay here again!!

“A convenient location. No frill but a warm welcome”

This hotel is located in the middle of an industrial estate. So not the most picturesque location, but it is somehow very quiet. It is extremely convenient for us whilst we are visiting friends and family in Gloucester and we have stayed a few times. The room are of a good size, modestly furnished, but all very clean and everything still feels new. Breakfast is continental and self service. Several choices, simple food but very good. Hotel staff are very welcoming and friendly. Would recommend for a short stay.

“Convenient and comfortable but could improve in some areas”

We enjoyed our stay but would make a couple of observations:- It would be helpful for more coffee and milk to be supplied rather than just one per person. It was particularly annoying to sit next to two women with laptops conducting a business discussion including discussion specific individuals in a loud manner whilst eating breakfast. Confidentiality was not being sufficiently considered. At around 7.15 a departing guest was revving up his motorbike with no consideration for others.

We found the lighting in the bedroom inadequate for reading. Eating area seemed short staffed at breakfast time, guests were having to ask for supplies.
