Booked the day before we arrived so did it in a little bit of a hurry but both my wife and were very pleased with my choice! The reception area was very clean and the receptionist courteous and announced we had an upgrade which was great. The room was clean, spacious and had a whirlpool bath. Breakfast was OK but not sure when Scottish hotels will realise that a "Scottish breakfast" should NOT include beans or hash browns, that said it would not stop me from booking this hotel again.

Spectacular beauty, impressive facilities ,caring and attentive staff, memorable restaurant with superlative food.
My wife and I enjoyed our magnificent experience to the fullest.
Everything was delightful and met our expectations.
Although some miles from major centres, the Holly Tree makes up for this by having an excellent restaurant - Seafood mainly but enough choice to suit others - and caring, friendly, staff. Our stay at the Holly Tree has been the highlight of our holiday and we (reluctantly) recommend it to anyone travelling in the Oban/Glencoe/Fort William area. (We're only reluctant because it was hard enough to get in there and we've probably made it even harder to get a room now by recommending it!).
The rooms, restaurant and bar all face out over Loch Linnhe and present beautiful and ever-changing views as the light moves through the day and evening.
This was the last stop on a magical tour through The Highlands, so our expectations were high. Your facility came through. It was wonderful. The building is charming and elegant, and the staff met us at every turn with a smile.
The Ferry Bar is a perfect blend of old world charm and friendly atmosphere. The path to the little island behind the hotel is a fairy tale walk into the setting for an old romantic painting.
One way or another we will make it back here.
As one of the most famous Highland Glens, Glencoe is one of the area's biggest draws. The striking landscape is the perfect backdrop to a peaceful getaway, where visitors can roam the rolling hills or stumble across a hidden beach along the coast. Hiking and climbing enthusiasts flock to the valley before heading to Fort William and tackling Ben Nevis, the tallest mountain in the British Isles.
