Fully lived up to our expectations...great to be able to check in 3 hrs earlier than expected leaving us free to explore the delights of the style mile and it's many fine shops,restaurants and drinking establishments.
If you are looking for something different to the same old same this is the place to be...from the self check in and very freindly staff to help if you required to the gadgets to hand in your room.
Spotlessly cleaned and very compact room,massive very comfortable bed ensured a good nights sleep...free wifi ,movies was a plus.
We payed extra for a fully cooked breakfast,very tasty but on the coolside(probaly the only negative we had)...in hindsight hot storage plates would eradicate this problem ,which I'm sure as been mentioned before....
All in all a great hotel and we will definatley return to use this and other citizen m establishments in the future... Well done glasgow...keep up your good work.

Glasgow excelled our expectations and we hope to revisit! We took the Tourist Bus on the first day to get an idea of where everything was and subsequently visited 5 Museums which were free entry. The walk along the Clyde was very enjoyable particularly due to blue skies and sunshine. The number of restaurants was exceptional, we were spoilt for choice, and we went, as recommended to The Sloan to get a taste of a truly old Glaswegian Pub. We travelled on the Subway which was extremely efficient and modern. Overall we were impressed by the cleanliness of the City and the warmth and friendliness of all the people we had contact with. We would totally agree with the "Glasgow Makes People" slogan!
Quiet spectacular room, robe, fab toiletries and professional friendly staff. More like a spa than a work visit. Cool original gate style lift. Breakfast was ok but better to go to one of many coffee bars instead. Ate in Butterfly and Pig minutes away recommended by reception and superb. I felt looked after in the Arthouse which is rare for one night visits in big cities.

Only stayed here because all the hotels were booked due to the Ryder Cup. What have I been missing? The appartments were lovely - like staying in a luxury 5* appartment but with all the comforts of home. Unlike when you stay in a hotel - no watching the TV sat on your bed, a real sofa to sit on, a table to eat your meal at, real cuttlery, no drinking your wine from the plastic cup from the bathroom - even a real wine glass. Excellent - only down side was I was only staying for one night. Can't praise it enough. I will be back.

My only complaint was that the staff at check in didn't tell us wee needed to order breakfast by hanging the card outside our room before 3am so we didn't get any , other than that fabulous hotel in a Fantastico city
