Staff were very helpful and pleasant except the girl who showed us to our table in the dining room at breakfast, both mornings she asked if we would like tea, we said yes but she didn't bring it. After waiting twenty minutes we went to another member of staff to get tea.
Hotel was great. We had our 10 year old son with us and had a superior double room with a roll away bed. The room was plenty big enough for the three of us. The staff were nice and the hotel was clean and had a good boutique/funky/cool feel to it. The only complaint is the continental breakfast which costs £14pp for toast, dry cereal, coffee and a croissant. It said that there would be charcuterie and cheeses, but none were to be found. This was really expensive for what was received. The second day we walked a few blocks for a much better breakfast at 1/3 the price.
Still loved th property and would recommend it to my friends.
"stunning quality and refinement for a good price"
Just try out the shower!
The bedroom was massive and despite being a boutique style hotel everything was solidly made and nothing seemed over the top.
Quality and refinement were key.
The bathroom was lush, the rain shower was spacious and was one of the best showers I've had in a while.
I travel for a living and have been in some nice (and nasty) hotels before, but this was excellent value for money - I've paid a lot more for a lot less elsewhere.
Most importantly the missus loved it and we will be returning!
Great hotel. Swimming pool a good size compared to other hotel pools. Lovely steam room, sauna and jacuzzi. Large gym. Beds very comfortable. Rooms sound proof. Breakfast fantastic. Hotel close to shops, river, cinema, SECC, restaurants, clubs and bars.
