We booked Hotel Galata as we wanted to stay close to the train station, perfect location for this, walk out the door and its 2 minutes around the corner. Bus station is also right there. This is the Genova Piazza Principe station, big station, lots of ticket desks, easy to get around. Hotel Galata, the staff were ok, room was ok, clean, shower and bathroom ok. Not too noisey. Breakfast was simple and ok. It was just fine for what we needed for 1 night. Taxi from airport to hotel was 25 euro.

Simple but effective
Its simple and effective for a one or 2 night stay, close to central train, there are restaurants in walking distance and pier is close and has events.

Hotel Galata is convenient for cruise departure and for those who have to leave by train and a perfect place for those wishing to discover Genoa.

Clean, convenient and good value hotel
2 min walk to train station, very tidy clean, and convenient. Good value hotel for room size, around 20 - 30 min to historical area and harbour.

Grazie, siamo felici Vi siate trovati bene. La posizione dell'hotel è comoda per chi deve partire e strategica per conoscere la città di Genova. Oltre all'Acquario anche il centro storico con i palazzi dei Rolli ed altri punti di interesse sono raggiungibili a piedi.
