Nice Hotel. Value for money!!! Though 10 mins walk from Metro Station.

“Too far away from the main areas”

Following a night and morning travelling, we discovered that the hotel was not the "two minute walk" from the nearest metro station we had been promised. It was, in fact, an almost twenty minute hike over a hill with luggage! The hotel itself was ok, although the restaurant never seemed to be open, and when we asked for more coffee for our room, we were told they didn't have any. It was too far from the metro to nip back to the room for a shower and change for the evening, and as a result we would definitely not recommend it to anyone wanting to see the sites of Paris.

The hotel was like 15 min away from underground station and like half an hour from Train station, and I've been told it is 5 min away, there were no shops or restaurants or anything around, cleanliness were very poor, floors were so sticky that every time my slippers were falling from my feet. We took the hotel because they offer free parking and we were traveling by car, so it was very convenience, apart that I would never stay again.

“Not impressed”

The "24 hour check-in" that is advertised online is really just an automated machine that dispenses keys. If you arrive after 11:00pm, your reservation is cancelled, but there are no employees there to help you solve the problem or make a new reservation. The phone number listed on the machine does not work, and if there are no more available rooms listed on the machine, there is no way for you to reserve a new room. Also, the hotel is NOT close to the city center, and it is at least a 10-15 minute walk to the train station. The neighborhood isn't the best, which makes walking to the train unsafe really early in the morning or really late at night.

“Cheap but without comfort”

This hotel is cheap but without comfort. You should only use it in the last minute bookings (when everything else is already booked) or if you are student and don't mind where you sleep. Also note that you have to be at the check-in before 11 p.m. Otherwise you need to phone the hotel before that time and ask for pin in order to use 24 h check-in machine. We had bad check-in experience (we arrived after 11 p.m.) and maybe that's the reason for overall not so good review.

“Only for short trips and you must have a car. Dodgy areas nearby.”

1. The restaurant at the hotel is very good. It needs to be as there isn't much else going on around there and the area is not nice (see my comments further below). 2. As with the Premiere Classe hotels (in the same company) the aircon is either set to hot or cold. Not both. As its now 'winter' the thing was set to hot. Thus on most nights I almost died from heat/humidity as the temperature was about 18 degrees Centigrade in the night. The window opening was not secure and could have been forced fully open so not nice. 3. Only one pillow per bed but as I was on my own this was OK as I took the other bed's one. 4. The 'Campanile green' colour in the bathroom makes you want to puke. 5. No fridge but at least there's coffee and tea (but no decaf). 6. There were some noisy drunken English idiots at 04:30 having a fight which really hacked me off. Even though the price is quite high for what you get, it does seem to attract some real morons. Presumable paid for by their company. 7. The Wifi is incredibly slow and good for very little. 8. The phone system doesn't seem to allow calls to be put through to the room so I had to take my wife's call in the reception area. 9. I would not recommend you stay at this hotel unless you have your own transport. I would certainly recommend taking your satnav as the French driving is atrocious. They all want to drive like Alain Prost. Mind you that's better than the Italians who seem to want to be like Albert Ascari, namely, DEAD.

“Campanile Paris Ouest - Gennevilliers Port”

Niente più di un motel.Decisamente scomodo,a 15 minuti a piedi dalla fermata della metro e mal servito dagli autobus.

Das Hotel ist sehr alt und entspricht nicht den sonst bekannten Standards der "Companile"-Gruppe. Sonst war ich immmer bei Companile, aber dieses hat mich enttäucht: Von außen gut aussehend, aber inner sehr veraltet, Badezimmer extrem verschimmelt, keine funktionierende Heizung, sehr unter Feuchtigkeit leidend, extrem renovierungsbedürftig. Obwohl ich nur für 2 Nächte geb ucjht habem, hätte ich am 2. Tag das Hotel gewechselt. Die Arbeit lies dies nicht zu und ich musste im Zimmer arbeitend frieren.
