“great hotel”

The Warwick was a greta hotel ideally located in the city centre. The last thing you want after a long journey (mines was 8 hours and 2 flights) is to have to travel even further to get to your hotel, Geneva is a 6 min train journey from the airport and the warwick is literally a 60 second walk across the road from the train station. I was checked in and in my room within half an hour of my plane landing. All Staff spoke perfect English and were extremely helpful and polite (the girl even noticed that it had been my birthday the day before while she was checking me in and wished me a happy birthday). While checking in she also asked if I knew the city and when i said no she gave me a map and some general directions to places of interest, they also give you a travel card which gets you free public transport on all buses, trams and trains for the duration of your visit, this includes gettingthe train back to the airport when you leave, you also get free wi-fi in the hotel during your visit and a 20% voucher off the restaurant as well. If you are there for sightseeing the hotel is centrally located and within walking distance of many tourist areas. I would definetely stay at the Warwick again.

“Convenient Location at Reasonable Price”

keeping in mind that Geneva is fairly expensive, Warwick offers a comfortable stay at a convenient location and a reasonable price. Across from the train station, 10 minute walk to the harbour and 15 minute walk to the shopping district.

“Never Again”

Having stayed in approx 400 hotels for business purposes, this has to be one of the most dissapointing, unlike the Warwick Hotel in Paris. Having asked for a quiet room and been assured that it would be quiet, it turned out to be incredibly noisy. Also, the AC didn't work and the room was uncomforably hot all night. There as also a problem with the phone - it gave one ring every 30 minutes. The good news is that there are plenty of good hotels in Geneva, all of whom just happen to be cheaper!

“Beware of over-priced food & drinks at this hotel which forced us to eat out daily”

Good location in relation to the train station. However, as the food was very expensive we had our meals outside of the hotel.

Area recommendations

The old town in Geneva was interesting from a historical point of view. Also, the old town provided a number of antique shops which were of interest.

The Warwick Hotel provided free travel cards for our stay in Geneva.

“A convenient and comfortable hotel in Geneva”

I needed a hotel convenient to an event I had to attend. The Warwick was great for the station and the event, and the hotel itself was very nice. The breakfasts were good but the Japanese restaurant that was part of the hotel was perfect for a very good dinner after a long day. The room was also very quiet too.If you don't need super luxury and a prestigious location, the Warwick would be excellent.

“Good Place to Stay in Geneva”

Convenient location near main train station. Very clean. All electrical fixtures work properly. Courteous, efficient staff. Quiet room (except for some unavoidable street noise). Some relatively minor downsides: No in-room minifridge and no way to get ice; no washcloths in bathroom unless you specifically ask.

“Excellent value and quality combined at the Warwick in Geneva”

Front desk and concierge were extremely helpful. Front desk figured out a way for me to check in early, which was most helpful and the concierge assisted many times with explaining the public transport system, how to use the hotel internet, directions to the location of my meetings, etc. The location is quite convenient and a time saver being close to the train station and tram stop. It was very easy to walk over to the "old" part of town to sight see and take the tram to my meetings in the new part of the city. Even though my room faced the square/train station and I am a light sleeper, the room was well insulated and I heard no street noise. I feel lucky I chose this hotel and will stay there again on my next visit to Geneva.
