“Incredible value”

This hotel was everything I have come to expect from Novotel, clean modern and comfortable. 10 minutes walk from the centre of Geneva and plenty of restaurants nearby. excellent

“Good, clean modern hotel worth trying on next visit to Geneva”

professional front desk staff, multi-lingual, clean and modern hotel. The rooms were of a good size with comfortable beds, climate control and extensive TV/internet connections. The bar and breakfast areas were comfortable and functional, good service, good menu choice. Location is not everyone's "cup of tea" (in the red light area of Geneva) but the proximity to the lake, railway station, etc make it a good choice for a business or pleasure trip. The immediate area does affect one's stay.

“Nice Hotel, pity about the dodgy area by night”

Recently stayed at the Novotel in Geneva after skiing in Chamonix. On arrival, the hotel staff were quick and helpful. We arrived at 11am so were happy to get our rooms early as well. The hotel itself is nice. The rooms are the largest for standard rooms i have stayed in whilst in Europe and are very clean. Alas, it is in a rather dodgy area of Geneva. Within one block, we had walked past at least 20 'ladies of the night' and a number of seedy characters. But, if you ignore that, I am sure the very cheap price and the hotel itself is worth a go if staying for a night or two in Geneva. I otherwise would not recommend this hotel, but I think the staff and room has given it the nod this time around.

“Does the job, but not really 4****”

check in fine, room clean and well maintained, no major issues. Only 2 things to complain about was the ridiculous price and poor variety of room service (and restaurant) options and the fact that the only english channel available was BBC Entertainment ... which was pretty disappointing. Only 3 english channels (2 of them US news channels) was a poor effort - given the international city and location. Appreciate main languages are french/arabic but even 1 movie channel in English would have made life easier. Also, we were given late check out for free due to our flight being late which was pretty good. Not bad - however when leasving the hotel, turn right instead of left as there are always dealers stood outside and to the left of the hotel. They dont hassle you, but better to avoid.

“Bearable for one night.”

As per. title - ok for a brief stay, but only just - not in the best area - zero outlook from room - latter adequate for purpose - relatively good value for Geneva - no problems whatever with staff..
