“Excellent value, good location.”

We enjoyed the hotel, it was in a good location for exploring Geneva and close to the railway station making easy access from the airport and for trips out to the surrounding areas. The hotel was very comfortable and clean.

Very good location. Free wifi and breakfast. Friendly staff. Rooms recently refurnished. And again very good location (across the street from the train station, and surprisingly very quiet at night).

“Perfect Affordable Hotel in Geneva”

Great location across from train station. Friendly staff, speak English, great breakfast , quiet rooms. On pedestrian mall straight access to lake.

“Convenient and comfortable”

This is a very central, convenient hotel a [literal] stone's throw from Geneva's main railway station. It's only five minutes walk to the Lake and there's an abundance of decent restaurants within 200m. The staff were helpful and friendly, especially so for we had had our hand luggage stolen at the station within 10 minutes of arriving. [Please be warned: Geneva, for all its charm and surface sophistication, is apparently suffering an epidemic of thefts, especially around the transit points.] Our room was quite spacious and well appointed. It was also impeccably clean and tidy. Our only slight quibble would be the room temperature: it was very warm and the air con did not sfficiently cool it down; opening the windows was not an option so near the station [with windows closed there was no disturbance].

“Enjoyable stay”

The hotel staff were friendly and helpfull, they even printed me a map with directions to a shop I needed to go to. The room was spotless and quiet. The decor was modern and a nice color scheme. There was a flat screen TV, free wifi internet as well as LAN connection. There were times where the internet did not work but it worked for 95% of my time. I felt the room was vary small for the price that was paid, luckily I am a thin person, if a larger or obeese person had been staying in my room they would have had difficulty sitting on the toilet and getting into the shower. I felt very restricted by space. The heater worked in the bathroom but I could not get the heather it to work in the bedroom. The location is excellent, accross from the train station (goes to the airport) and tram stop (goes to the UN). The hotel gives you a free tram pass for the length of your stay. In the pedestrian street below there is a Starbucks, Cafe de Paris restaurant and other restaurants close by. The buffet breakfast was standard. If I were to stay here again I would request a room facing the Place de Cornavin as they seem to be much larger. This is a good hotel for a short stay, however if you are staying in Geneva for a week or longer I would recommend a hotel room with a kitchenette as eating out in Geneva is expensive.

“Very impressed”

Very convenient location. Also got a bus/ tram pass for the day & in front of the train station, 10 min from the airport. Free wireless worked as well!

“Functional and convenient”

Second time there, first time since 2008. Served its purpose, near the train station, clean, TV worked well, good breakfast included, internet included. Good if you are on biz, paying out of your own pocket, wife not traveling with you.

The Suisse Hotel is a good 3 star hotel. It is very close to the station and public transport around Geneva. The breakfast room is well appointed although the breakfast selection is limited. The hotel decor is a bit dated, but the rooms were clean and the bathroom appears to have been recently decorated. A good hotel for the price.
