Nice hotel that is central to most activities.

Posted 22-Jan-2015
Pros: It is central to the city and easy to find
Cons: There is no secure parking or undercover parking available, we had to pay extra and it was quit expensive.
We had a a good experience, it is one of the best hotels in Geelong.

Clean & functional

Posted 18-Jan-2015
This hotel is located in what seems like an industrial zone but is nevertheless in walking distance to a number of restaurants. The hotel is anything but fancy and shows some signs of wear and tear. Internet and parking are available at the usual extortionary rates. However, our room was well-furnished, spacious, clean and quiet, so, overall, a pleasing experience for a quick overnight stay. Just don't book this place for your honeymoon.

Our stay in Geelong

Posted 18-Jan-2015
Pros: Large room, view
Cons: New carpet and paint, restaurant prices are a bit over the top.
Location: Location was good, about a 10/15 minute easy walk to the waterfront and the restaurant belt.
The hotel was clean and comfortable but in need of a decent makeover with new carpet and paint job the first that should be looked at. Also, they advertise that there is a $18 per night parking fee - way over the top considering you can park on the road for free. If you're paying $120+ per night this should be free.

Good, I Guess

Posted 07-Jan-2015
Pros: Google Search
Cons: The floor corridors look a little bit tired and could do with a coat of paint.
Location: The hotel is very close to the City of Geelong and an easy walk to the pier and the fantastic restaurants on the pier.
We only spent a night at this hotel. We found the hotel clean with friendly staff. The room was also clean but the corridors could do with a lick of paint and/or renovation. The hotel is very close to the City of Geelong and an easy walk to the pier and the fantastic restaurants on the pier. I would recommend this hotel and would gladly stay at it again. Go Cats!

Average hotel

Posted 31-Dec-2014
Pros: Central location
Cons: Improve all the negatives above.
Location: Short drive to shopping centre, Eastern Beach, Portarlington, St Leonards, Torquay
Positives: central location. Negatives: extra for parking, extra for wifi (seriously, shopping centres offer it for free), wouldn't tune their Foxtel to receive the new Fox Sport 5-would take like 1 minute to do it, $10 for a toasted ham sandwich, double bedroom with 1 chair....

Nice hotel, good location, great function room

Posted 24-Nov-2014
We had a small function room for dinner, had a dedicated waiter who was fantastic, the food was delicious. Would recommend booking dinner package rather than heading out, meals were better, personal service, private space and were reasonably priced.

great place to stay

Posted 03-Nov-2014
Pros: that if I didn't want to go out to eat I had a choice to eat in the restaurant, at the bar or order room service
Cons: maybe some more choices in the menu for the restaurant, bar or room service
Location: walking distance to shopping centre and some pubs about 10min walk to train station but all these are down hill as the motel is at the top of the hill
very friendly and helpful staff with a window that opens to allow fresh air to enter choice of breakfast in your room or down stairs in the restaurant as for lunch and dinner in your room, the restaurant or go out to the near by cafes pubs or restaurants the east facing rooms have view over the bay and down onto the pool area I would stay there again.

One hiccup with our room fixed immediately reception staff told. Pleasant stay in convenient location.
