“A very nicely located but old hotel”

Very good location for vacation. Close to train station and literally next to the beach and attractions. Gdynia is a train ride from Sopot, Gdansk, etc.

“Clean and conveniently located hotel”

We spent one night in Gdynia Orbis in January 2011 during a cross-Europe vacation. We were very pleased with this hotel overall and would recommend it to anyone looking for a clean and comfortable room at a reasonable price. It was a 15 min cab away from the Stenaline ferry terminal and located near the aquarium, port and a shopping district. The hotel staff were friendly and accomodating. We were able to get a late check out and have our luggage stored after check out without any problem. The room was clean and spacious. There was even a mini fridge built into the cabinet that we only discovered just before leaving. The bed was quite comfortable and large.

“Hotel Orbis Gdynia liegt sehr zentral in Gdynia.”

SUPER LAGE !!! Sehr gute Preisverhältnis. Lohnt sich ein Zimmer mit Panoramablick zu reservieren (nicht Stadteil nur Hafen&Boulevard), das kostet nur ein paar Euro mehr. Hotel sieht vom außen nicht besonders gut und hat schon bestimmt bessere Zeiten erlebt, aber die Lage ist einmalig. Man erreicht Strand und Hafen zu Fuß. Kino, Theater , Restaurants, Disco und Einkaufamöglichkeiten sind in der Nähe. Nach Sopot und Danzig kommt man in 15-30 Min., mit Taxi od. S-Bahn. Hat mir sehr gut gefallen und ich werde Gdingen (Gdynia) bestimmt wieder besuchen.

“Gutes Hotel für super Preis”

Ich übernachte seit Jahren in diesem Hotel und werde es in der Zukunft weiter machen. Die Lage ist sehr gut, schön sind die Zimmer mit Meerblick oben. Die Zimmermädchen sind sehr fleißig und höflich.

“Alles bestens”

sollten wir nochmal nach polen fliegen... nehmen wir dieses hotel !! busverbindung vom airport nach gydnia könnte besser sein !

“Gute Lage, schlechter Empfang”

Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr gut. man erreicht den Strand und die Innenstadt innenhalb kürzester Zeit. Bei unserer Ankunft ist uns allerdings die schlechte Laune am Empfang entgegen geschlagen, die den Gesamteindruck stark getrübt hat. Die Zimmer sind zwar ohne Klimaanlage, doch bei geöffneten Fenster ist auch der Sommer zu überstehen. Einzig die Hotelgänge sind stark aufgeheizt, sodass man immer einen kleinen Hitzeschlag bekommt, wenn man aus dem Fahrstuhl, oder Zimmer kommt. Die Zimmer sind sauber, haben aber noch den Charme der 70er Jahre. Das Badezimmer ist auch noch aus dieser Zeit, da die Armaturen nicht wirklich gut funktionierten. Ich kann das Hotel Orbis für Allen weiterempfehlen, wenn man sich nicht scheut mit dem unfreundlichen Empfang zurecht zu kommen. Das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis stimmt dort noch.

“Gdynia Hotel”

The hotel was nice and clean. The whole staff was friendly and gentle.

Getting there
From Gdansk there is bus 510 to Gdynia (very cheap 3,50 zl) but it does not run often. Otherwise, take bus to Central railway station and then train to Gdynia (it often runs). Hotel is very close to the main Gdynia railway station, so do not pay taxi more than 10 zl. If you want, you can walk to hotel (about 15 min.)
