"Stockholm, Short get away"
Spent a long weekend in Stockholm, stayed at the Holiday Inn, it is right in the middle of Stockholm's main shopping district, surrounded by Coffee shops and a variety of restaurants.
There is easy access to shops, for shopaholics alike and your also right next to glitz and glam of Sturplan, where the higher echelon of Swedish society choose to socialize. Think London Park lane, Mayfair and you will have the right idea.
I am dragging on a little, back to the main topic, which is the hotel itself: good points clean, polite staff and that where it stops, the room I stayed in was tiny, but I did not fork out a lot, so expected as much. I am sure the other rooms may have actually looked like the pictures, but I did not get a chance to snoop. The breakfast is basic: cereal, sandwiches, pastries, fruit, fruit juice and coffee - nothing spectacular here. One thing to bear in mind is the hotel is based in a huge underground basement, hence no windows - I actually did not mind this at all, spent little time at the hotel anyway.
