“Handy for the Area”

The hotel lies close to the Autostrada so is well placed. Ideal stop for tour buses, but don't let that put you off. Conference hotel but not so large as to be impersonal. Spa is a useful extra.

“Typical Business Hotel -- Well Run But Lacking Charm”

This is a business hotel with all the amenities: pool, spa service, restaurant and bar on site, elevators, plenty of free parking, and easy access from a major road. BUT this hotel, while very efficient and seviceable, lacks any "soul"; there is nothing "special" about it for the non-business traveller and its restraurant food was very ordinary.

Trattamento magnifico, stanze pulite e confortevoli, colazione ottima, posizione comoda, se si è automuniti, e vista fantastica (il Regio Hotel Manfredi è tra il Gargano ed il Golfo di Manfredonia)

“Regio Hotel Manfredi,meraviglioso hotel in posizione strategica x raggiungere le mete piu' visitate”

All'arrivo l'insegna gigantesca fa' da garante a quello che si dimostrera' l'hotel. Ottima accoglienza,sia dal personale che l'albergo stesso,molto pulito offre di tutto,centro benessere con sauna ecc. Piscina con cascata! Che pero' sgorga solo alla chiusura,offre animazione,cinema e tornei,ogni giorno organizzano qualcosa in piu offrono pacchetti come gite in barca per visitare le stupende grotte del gargano,escursioni in aereo ultraleggero o in jeep nella foresta umbra. Ovviamente loro fanno solo la prenotazione,sul posto dovete arrivarci col mezzo proprio,vi danno il ticket di modo da non dover pagare l'escursione facendo tutto un conto alla fine,ci mangiano un po',tipo la gita in barca con loro costa 20€ se la fate in spiaggia costa 15€,non sono molte ma quello che offrono lo pagate. La spiaggia convenzionata cala rosa e molto bella e conviene andare li e non a manfredonia anche perché la gita in barca parte di li e se non fate quella é inutile andare nel gargano d'estate.offre il mini bar ma nell'ingresso ai corridoi ci sono i distributori automatici per bevande e sfizi a prezzi modici. Se decidete di andare a S.Giovanni Rotondo o Monte S.Angelo pernottate qui che é al centro tra i due paesi e avete il mare di fronte,qui vi godrete la vacanza,a S.Giovanni gli hotel lucrano su padre Pio quindi é tutto a sfondo religioso.

Area recommendations

Monte S.Angelo di giorno per vedere la bellissima chiesa di S.Michele scavata nella roccia e il castello,di sera sempre per il castello quando fanno la lotta tra cavalieri ma non sempre(io l'ho vista il 12 agosto) e per i negozietti tipici. Per il mare mattinatella frazione di matinata, scendete a fontana delle rose, avrete degli stabilimenti che cucinano sulla spiaggia dei piatti eccezionali.
