A very pleasant stay in a hotel that was ideally situated for us to visit the main attractions in the center of Paris.
Excellent buffet breakfast, clean air conditioned rooms, very polite efficient staff who helped us with everything we needed.
Not the hotels fault but there is currently extensive building works next door which woke us in the morning.

The hotel is in a safe, modern and relatively new neighbourhood. The best thing about the hotel is that it is very close to a Metro and RER station. So you can take the Metro to all the sights around Paris or a direct RER train connection to Versailles. This makes the hotel very convenient for a short sightseeing trip to Paris.
Overall, poor customer service and treatment. I already experienced better service at lower rated hotels in Paris. Upon arrival the receptionist was confused about our reservation and how many rooms we booked. Also we had to pay a city tax and for Wifi access (even their website states it is free). This hotel basically charges for every little bit extra. On our first and last day, we wanted to leave our luggage at the reception before our check-in/ after our check-out so we didn't have to carry it with us during sightseeing. They charged us for every piece of luggage seperately. Also the rooms didn't have the same amenities. My friend had a Nespresso coffee maker in her room, which was missing in my room. The door of the closet was broken and just hanging there instead of being fixed. From a hotel in this category, I expect more attention to detail and a better customer treatment.
The area was fantastic, I'd highly recommend a morning of walking up the ancient Roman road, Rue Mouffetard, and the surrounding Latin Quarter streets up to the Pantheon. It's absolutely beautiful and feels as though you're wandering through the real heart of Paris. The restaurants in Place de la Contrescarpe (surrounding the fountain at the top of Rue Mouffetard) are well worth a visit. I could have sat and watched the day go by for hours - utterly idillic.
The hotel was beautifully furbished, very modern but still in-keeping with the style of the very old building. The standard rooms are a LOT SMALLER than they look on the photos. Still, very comfortable, but don't expect to be doing cartwheels. The staff were pleasant and the hotel was very quiet, so don't worry about not getting a good night's sleep.
There are two Metro stations, a few bus stops and some amazing patisseries very close to the hotel too. I'd recommend using the CityMapper app if you're going to be using the buses - it makes getting back to the hotel in the evening a lot easier, plus it's SO much cheaper to get a bus than a taxi.
If you're able to, PLEASE walk every where you possibly can. Paris is full of life and beauty and you will completely miss it all if you take the Metro all the time. Get lost and explore.
