“Not expecting this in Garden City Kansas”

The hotel was on the same lot as a major breakfast restaurant and close to all other major chains in Garden City. You do not have to travel far to get the local flavor as well, located nicely. Hotel was newer and nicely kept up with rooms, beds all in nice condition. Amongst all the positives the only negative - which I use loosely - was someone answering the phones at the front desk or having to wait in the morning at checkout for someone. Nice breakfast atmosphere that was not at tall crowded and different options for seating, which was something I would love to see elsewhere.

Getting there

Getting there is easy, if you come in on 56 highway the further you stay to the east side the more large truck and well servicing workers you will stay with during the week. Very early risers.

Getting around

Getting around in Garden City is not as hard as you might expect if you are a frequent traveler and not used to a town of approx. 28K with many accomodations. There are two main veins of traffic and not congested.
