Gandia, Valencia Hotels

A long golden unspoiled beach, one of the best in the region, is Gandia’s claim to fame. Sailing and windsurfing are very popular here. The resort is patronised mostly by Spanish visitors and there are buzzing restaurants and nightlife. In the old heart of town the Palacio del Santo Duque is a glorious Baroque building. Some 40 kilometres south, the Albufera nature reserve is famous for its colourful migratory birds and paella restaurants.
