“Friendly, helpful desk service at basic, dependable chain hotel, nothing fancy”

No surprises at this hotel, other than the especially helpful and friendly reception and recommendations of the desk staff. The rooms were basic, nothing fancy, but clean, and comfortable (although one half of the mattress was a little saggy, the other half was provided a good night's sleep :) We were a bit disappointed that we needed to take a bus to the stores and restaurants. I'd booked this hotel mainly because of the free parking and what I thought was walking proximity to the action.

Overall I was satisfied - we got what we paid for. The room was clean and comfortable and the hotel was in a good location. It was a good deal for the price. Parking was easy and late checkout was only an extra 10 euro. All in all, I was happy, would stay there again if on a budget.

Hotel clean, good price for easter weekend in Galway. Not a convenient part of Galway for a tourist, kind of industrial park-ish. Taxi needed to get to fun parts of Galway. No working phone in room, "phasing them out". Okay. Staff nice and helpful.
