Staff very friendly but this hotel is not a 5 star- more of a decent 4 star. Reception and bar staff couldn’t be nicer and food was decent also.

Extremely dated, cracked grout, very worn bathroom tapware, old carpets. More like an old, run-down motel room, not a five-star hotel. Room smelled of stale cigarettes, & had no easily-accessible bedside outlets. The shower didn't drain, which left us standing in a pool of dirty water. On leaving feedback, staff offered to send up air fresheners for the smell, which we repeatedly declined as strong smells give me migraines. Staff also said maintenance would fix the shower drain first thing in the morning. Maintenance hadn't arrived by 9am, which delayed our day as we had been waiting for them. We followed up with front desk, who said maintenance would be by later that morning. As we returned to our room, housekeeping was finishing up & once they left, we noticed a very strong air freshener smell as soon as we went in - even though we'd clearly said we didn't want air freshener at all. Cue migraine. Even after maintenance, the shower barely drained & we were still left showering in pool of dirty water for remainder of stay. We arranged to collect breakfast pack at 4.45am day of check-out, as needed to leave hotel by 5am to catch flight from Belfast. Staff assured us this was no problem. Day of check-out, we go at 4.45am to collect breakfast pack & leave, but staff said they weren't advised of this, then said will take 5 mins to prepare & disappeared for over 30 mins instead of completing our check-out. We booked this for our honeymoon; very disappointing experience.

The staff at the front desk were very good. The issue is with the food service staff. We asked for our check(after dinner) and our server went to 2-3 other tables, where there 4 to 6 diners at each table. They were asking separate checks at one table and to divide the check at the other table. The presumed manager stopped to inquire about our meal and we asked him to please get our check, which he promptly did. We informed him we had been waiting 20 minutes for our bill. He apologized and was very nice. We were at the elevator and she was still at the table messing with separate checks. We were two people. She also never checked on us. We had to ask someone else for water, etc. Breakfast was better but…the last day I asked for scrambled eggs dry-I told her they could “burn”the eggs, and crisp, well done bacon. Well, it must have been Opposite Day in the kitchen, because I received barely cooked bacon and really wet scrambled eggs. I sent the eggs back and they came back basically the same. The servers’ for breakfast were nicer and tried to accommodate you, but in the evening, at least the young lady we had, wasn’t much help. The hotel itself is lovely. The dining areas on the main floor are lovely, the first one, with the fireplace is beautiful.

Outstanding hotel. Rooms are beautiful and interior is just stunning. All staff are warm and welcoming and make you feel at ease. Beautiful breakfast and lovely evening bar. Will definitely be back!

Our stay was very pleasant. The staff was very professional and friendly. When checking in Blanca was so happy to have us and we felt so welcomed. Room was spacious and amenities were excellent. Breakfast included many options and was very good. We would definitely stay again.

Modern hotel 15 minutes drive from the city centre. Food in the evening very good, breakfast was OK, however had to repeat requests multiple times before actioned by waiting staff Room was very noisy with constant clanging outside the window all night

First, check-in was great. Specifically, Blanca was professional, friendly and helpful. The food and service was good, and could be tailored to specific requests. The problem was the spa. When we went, there were dirty cups and used towels throughout the area. For example, two people were using the spa, yet every spa bed had used towels on them or on the floor. Also, the spa bench seat is poorly designed-there are no grips or foot rests to stay in place so you float out and no jets hit you. And certainly, the water temperature could be a degree or two hotter.

The G Hotel was pleasant the staff work hard to please . The refurbishment recently completed is very good bedrooms need that we uplift snd they are then a top hotel . The exterior also needs that refurb. Food was very good could not fault it.

Bathroom was a little tired. Main part of hotel and staff were excellent. Hotel fronted on to a major road and backed onto a shopping mall so was a little noisy.

There service and employees were very welcoming and had great customer service. You need to make a reservation for any feature with the hotel. When asked to us the complimentary shuttle into town, we were told it was charging and would take 3 hours. The shower wall still had hair on it from a previous tenant. Overall a very nice stay, but for the prestige of this location, was expecting a bit more.

Fantastic and comfortable room and very cheerful staff though they dropped the ball a couple of times on dinner reservations etc. It worked out fine in the end. The ESpa is a great amenity and easy to book - having access to the steamroom, sauna, and thermal pool was great. The breakfast was first class and service was top notch.

This is a first class property and the staff actively tries to help their guests in any way possible. The spa treatments and facilities were great. Our room was quite pleasant and we would go back.
