Not so great

Posted 26-Jul-2014
For the price, the room was very small. The TV was tiny and was not hooked up. The breakfast was not worth the 6 euros.

Nice hotel with a good location in Galway.

Posted 24-Jul-2014
Pros: Location, friendliness, cleanliness, PC available for guest use.
Cons: The breakfast costs 6 euros. I would prefer that it be included in the room rate. Also the room rates were a bit high for the value you get.
Location: The greyhound dog-racing track is a just a 5-minute walk and it's a lot of fun to watch (and bet on) the races.
I stayed at St. Jude's Lodge on two different occasions on the same trip. It was a good experience overall. Very friendly staff.

Close to bus station, about 5 minute walk

Posted 16-Jul-2014
Pros: Pleasant helpful staff although appear slightly disorganised
Cons: Basic room fittings, bathroom tiny and outdated .
Location: 5 minute walk to coach station
One night stay prior to starting tour. Adequate for my needs however with number of accommodation options in Galway , wonder if what I paid for good value for my money. Would recommend for overnight stay

Lovely staff great location

Posted 05-Jul-2014
The room was very nice. Bathroom was a bit tiny and the door didn't fully close. There was a computer and printer to use which was very convenient. Breakfast buffet was well stocked and delicious and the staff were so nice. Only trouble was it was quite expensive. The price on the website didn't include tax so we were shocked to have an extra €60 on the bill at the end. Really close to Eyre square, overall great b and b if you don't mind the price

Welcoming b and b close to town

Posted 30-Jun-2014
Cons: wobbly headboard on single bed. Unprofessional paint job around cupboard doors.
Location: pedestrianised area great fun. Salt hill beach a lively area full of families, walkers and runners.
arriving early we were welcomed with a pot of tea and chocolate biscuits! We were offered the use of the toilet and the internet as well as being given a place to store our bags. The host gave us a simple map to the town highlighting how to get to the key spots. Friendly helpful staff and a cheerful bunch for breakfast. We had a great time. Salt hill is a must.

Galway Ireland

Pros: Liked the free use of their computer and wifi. Short walk to downtown Galway.
Cons: New pillows
The room was nice, although the bed was very hard and the pillows were the worst. They really need to replace the pillows.

Very close to the city, but VERY small rooms/bathrooms. I expected more for the price, but it was cleaned and the staff was friendly.
