great spa and attentive staff

Posted 10-Dec-2014
just back from Galway, hotel is well placed has very reasonable car parking of 5euro per night for covered parking, and the spa was excellent, only slight downside was the service at breakfast, food good but almost appeared that the waiting staff did their best to avoid you.

Great hotel for Galway

Posted 24-Nov-2014
Great hotel in Galway. Ever so slightly out of town means this hotel is quieter than most, but has exceptional facilities and great staff. It's only a short walk to Eyre Square or reception will book a taxi (that arrives almost instantly) to take you further afield. Will definitely be back.

Good hotel close to City Centre

Posted 12-Nov-2014
Pros: Location, friendly staff, leisure centre
Cons: Hotel could do with some upgrading e.g railings by swimming pool badly rusted in places. There is a charge for car parking which is outrageous.
Location: Excellent location within a couple of minutes walk to city centre and all amenities
Stay in this hotel most times when in Galway. Now could do with some renovations/touch ups as a little dated. Friendly staff with good food and reasonable priced drink although buffet breakfast can be cold depending on what time taken. Good leisure centre and facilities though there should be a robe and slippers provided in all rooms for guest use. Superb location in Galway City and overall reasonable value for money

weekend break

Posted 27-Oct-2014
Pros: good location, clean and good food
Cons: Price and could do with some new towels
having stayed at the Radisson before we knew what to expect, busy hotel, room clean, bathroom fine, good breakfast on both mornings, couldn't fault hotel, its a good location for city centre, only complaint would be the price, quite expensive, but that said, will no doubt stay again

Good close to town

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit.. However we needed a cot bed in our room so there was no room to move around at all.. Larger rooms for families perhaps!

Great central location

Pros: Location
Location: shopping in city centre
Nicely decorated rooms with comfy beds...awesome breakfast buffet. Only a five minute walk to the central shopping area. I'd stay here again if in Galway.

Fantastic hotel!

Posted 24-Sep-2014
Pros: Everything! The convenient location, the fabulous room and the very helpful staff.
Cons: Nothing that I can think of.
Location: We didn't need a car because of the hotel location. The train station, the coach station and the centre of Galway are all a few minutes' walk away.
This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. The hotel is convenient to all amenities yet tucked away. The staff are the most helpful I have ever encountered and nothing is too much trouble. I have to say if I ever return to Galway I wouldn't even think of staying anywhere else.

Favourite hotel in Galway but pricey

Posted 22-Sep-2014 on Hotels.com
Radisson is consistently the best hotel in Galway but the prices are a bit steep especially for standard rooms which are not great. I always try and book Business Class or Level 5 rooms which are much nicer. Breakfast is great, although they need to source nicer orange juice and smoked salmon. Nice leisure centre and spa also. Recommended by me!

Centrally located hotel

Posted 22-Sep-2014
Pros: The pub, the front desk staff, the location, the breakfast buffet
Location: This is two blocks off the center square right near the bus depot, the information bureau and many pubs, restaurants and shopping.
Fabulous stay at this lovely hotel in the center of Galway with excellent views, a nice pub and excellent staff. We just had a relaxing stay there.
