Great location, close to the pedestrian zone.

Posted 24-Feb-2015
Pros: Condition of the rooms, the staff, and location. Trifecta !
Location: Walk across the street and through the square to the pedestrian zone. There's also a small grocery store and pubs directly across the street.
Stayed 2 rooms with my wife and 2 sons. Excellent comfortable rooms, well kept. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Good breakfast, nice staff there too. Parking in the back made easy by valet. Just a shirt walk to the pedestrian zone, pubs, shops, etc. Great hotel.

Loved it!

Posted 13-Feb-2015
Pros: Everything
Location: The location is very near the train, coach and bus stations. Convenient! And it is practically on Eyre Square. You can't really get any better.
We spent 4 night here and loved it! The staff is welcoming, warm and very helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The restaurant was wonderful for breakfast and dinner. It is not for kids looking for a party, but is great for everyone else.

Super waiting staff make this hotel.

Posted 05-Feb-2015
Pros: Friendly staff and coffee and cake!c
Cons: Call me old fashioned but I prefer not to be called by my first name by reception staff.
Location: Great location for train station. Easy access to the whole West Coast.
Nothing was too much for the lovely waiting staff. Continual supply of coffee and cake on hand and always served with a smile and friendly comment. Likewise the bar staff. Although I returned to my room frequently during the mornings I was there the housekeeping staff were willing to work round my return to the room. Delightful friendly people.

Nice Hotel in Central Location

Posted 12-Jan-2015
Pros: Friendly, efficient staff. Great location. Nice breakfast.
We stayed for one night and wish it could have been longer. We arrived early and were allowed to check in at 1 pm which was great. The room was comfortable, clean and quiet. The food was good, at the bar and at breakfast. The staff in all areas were very friendly. Parking is a bit chaotic as the hotel is located in the congested centre of Galway but we had no problems. I would definitely stay here again.

This hotel had a really lovely interior and great amenities. I appreciated the cleanliness in the room. It was also conveniently located near the bus station and city center. We had a very positive experience.

Great hotel, you'll love it

Posted 10-Jan-2015
Location: The location was great because it is near the many touring companies, shopping, restaurants, and town center. There is no need to drive once there.
The service was superb. If I asked for a glass of water, someone would bring a pitcher. That's how good the service. The staff was wonderful and very friendly and helpful. The restaurant was also very good. I can't think of one negative thing to say about them except they may be too friendly. And that's not a bad thing.

4-Star operating like a 5-Star++

Posted 17-Dec-2014
Pros: Breakfast, lunch and dinner in the dining room as classy, high-end experiences.
Cons: Truly nothing could be improved, these guys know how to treat people well!
Location: You are right off Eyre Square and minutes from the train/bus. Great shopping, and easy access to Connemara and all that the west has to offer!
This is a gorgeous hotel in a great location. The highlights are: modern, clean rooms, excellent service with staff that really know how to treat people well, and the BEST of all -- the food was amazing! This place is a busy hotel, and the staff work hard, keeping the place impeccable, the wait staff are silver-service trained and the menu and chef are to be complimented. I would not bother staying anywhere else next time I am in Galway. Bravo Park House Hotel & Staff, this place is magical.

Nice location. Felt too young to stay there.

First, I want to say that the hotel is very clean and centrally located. The parking was a little challenging to find. However, once I went in to ask, they had an easy map with clear directions. Our overall experience with the staff was that we were a bother to them. It seems as though they are really only interested in their guests that are a little bit older. At breakfast, we were seated in a side room (both mornings) instead of in the main dining room. Our waitress was great in that room, it just seemed a little odd. Whenever we needed help, the employee was usually speaking with an older guest and it felt like we were a bother. I would recommend this place as a great place for the 65 plus crowd.
