“good location”

good central locations, popular w/ locals who want an upscale experience, staff helpfull but not that knowledgable, big breakfast, big room, not much charm, we got a great deal which included parking.

“Great place to stay”

The Park Hotel is a great place to stay in Galway. Onsite parking is free and the restaurant is great. The staff was friendly and service excellent. The only problem with this hotel is that they do not offer a computer with internet access. They do offer free wifi but for those without a computer it is necessary to go outside the hotel to an internet cafe. I would stay there again.

“Great location”

The location of the hotel was very good, a couple of blocks from the pedestrian streets where you could wander around the shops and stop at one of the many pubs. The breakfast was very good and the staff was friendly and accommodating. Our room was small but comfortable. The bathroom, however, needed some updating. There is not a lot of parking and you may have to double park an leave your keys with the porter.

“Excellent Galway Hotel - Excellent Galway Location”

We couldn't have picked a more ideal hotel to spend our 3 days/2 nights in Galway. From the moment we pulled into their parking lot, we were greeted by enthusiastic hotel personnel, ready to please the customer. Our check in was seamless; our room provided all the necessary furnishings; room safe, in room bar, valet presser, ample closet space, and immaculately clean. The breakfast was outstanding, which included a buffet as well as any item off the menu. Additionally, the service was superb, by anyone and everyone who waited on us or greeted us. The hotel is approximately 150 feet from the main square. Everything within Galway was well within walking distance and safe.

Area recommendations

The shopping area between the central square and the river. A good portion is pedestrian only traffic, which is a plus as one can walk, observe and shop without the fear of vehicular traffic.

“Highly Recommended”

Very impressed with our time at Park House Hotel. The overall experience and service levels were much higher than I expected given the price. The staff was great, nice rooms and common areas, excellent service, and nice walking-distance location to the best restaurants and pubs in Galway!

“Good value”

Quite pleased with this hotel. Location was great for exploring Galway, as well as a base for day trips out of the city. Excellent staff, very friendly and helpful. Good Irish breakfast. Would recommend to others.
