Beds are terrible. Hotel is overpriced.

Posted 22-Jun-2015
After 1 night, we requested a different room as the bed was so uncomfortable. The bed in the second room was worst resulting in me sleeping on top of the duvet cover for extra padding. The shower in each room leaked terribly. The rooms are very small. You need to pay for parking and breakfast and there are very few options for the continental breakfast. It was also difficult to understand many of the hotel staff as English is not their first language. On a positive note, staff person Owen, local Irishman was helpful in assisting with a tour booking.

Nice hotel at the start of everything

Posted 19-Jun-2015
The hotel was very nice and the location was perfect - right at the end of the main strip for Galway. Food, drinks and things within 100 yards. Very nice!

perfect!!!!

Pros: everything
Cons: Bath in 214
Location: Galway - Irish bars = Perfect
I cannot fault the staff, room or facilities however just one issue but I didn't let this affect the rating - Bath in room 214 when it runs there is dirt/black bits coming out so had to run it a few times but was still the same. Thanks and please don't hesitate to send me some feedback on what I have said (and a discount for next stay :)

Nice hotel in city center

Made one complaint and it wasn't addressed. It wasn't worth complaining twice about the sink.

Great location.

Jury's Inn Galway is a fine hotel and one of four we stayed in during our trip. Beds are very comfortable and bathroom is modern and good sized. The only negative is the parking garage. It is right next to the hotel but is not owned by the hotel. The parking spots are very tiny and the ramps up and down are steep and narrow. I asked for a quiet room and we received one overlooking the river. We did not get any street noise.

Brilliant hotel right in the centre

Posted 13-May-2015
This was a lovely hotel right in the city centre and as close to Quay Street as you can get. I've stayed at the hotel before a few years ago. The hotel has been tactfully renovated since then. We stayed at the back of the hotel overlooking the river. It was lovely and quiet and had stunning views over the river. The staff were friendly and accommodating. All in all of highly recommend this hotel to everyone.
