Close to city centre

Posted 02-May-2015
Pros: Location
Cons: Parking facilities, mattress upgrade and better treatment of guestsxwho book online
Location: Hotel centrally located and near the old part of the city, so narrow pedestrian walkways nearby.
The hotel was OK, it old and a bit worn. Mattresses needed replacing. As usual was shown one of the worst rooms and only after complaint were we moved to a better room. Parking was impossible. Off site and a nightmare to get to

Galway

Weekend Stay in Galway

Posted 27-Jan-2015 on Hotels.com
The Imperial Hotel was lovely, however on arrival I was told that my Carpark ticket would be free as we were guests at the hotel but on departure when I asked for my ticket to be validated I was told that I would have to pay €10 for the use of the Carpark. I was annoyed at this as 1 person was saying one thing and the other was disputing this.

So comfortable!

Posted 10-Jan-2015
Pros: Spacious, well maintained rooms, great staff, secure and comfortable.
Cons: N/A. Keep up the good work.
Location: Centrally located so all of Galway is right beside you. Everything is within walking distance. You're all set.
I really liked this hotel. Perfect location, incredibly spacious and comfortable, and the staff were great. Doors close at 11 pm but the porter is a cool guy and he'll take care of you. When I got here I sighed in relief because everything just felt so comfortable. Front desk had our room ready as we checked in a little earlier so it was perfect. It's easy to get in and out. There's a pretty sitting room on the 1st floor overlooking the rest of Eyre Square so that was nice. There's a bar/restaurant downstairs, convenient if you need it.

Clean and Central

Posted 09-Dec-2014 on Hotels.com
Room was uncomfortabley warm, even for winter and with air con on the coolest. Hotel restaraunt was a little expensive too so we went 100 yards down the road to "The Skeff" which I would highly advise. But other than that the hotel was perfect.
