Wish we could've stayed longer. Only issue was finding it as it is in the midst of everything and parking is a little difficult.

Older property that could use some maintenance and updating. Very noisy and a very poor view from our small window. Great location for the train station.

Room was clean, with basic amenities. Next time would try another hotel in the area.

review of imperial hotel galway

Pros: Its location is very good being in the city center near the train and bus services.
Cons: It's bathroom facilities i.e the particles in the water, broadband access, the t.v nice big t.v but what is the point if you can't get the channels.
Location: Good location only negative thing is my mum went outside of hotel at 9:00 pm a group of young men asked to use her phone in a attempt to rob her
Check in was quick just had to fill out a form. The room was tidy apart from some of the cushions were a bit grubby. Not enough hangers and coffee in the room for three people, but when asked for more got them. The room had good air conditioner usually too warm in hotels but this air conditioner was great at blowing in cold air and I say warm air if you were too cold. Also one of my family wanted to have a bath but when she filled the bath trying twice it took ages to fill and each time there was brown particles in the water so she didn't use it . Also when I booked with expedia in the description of the hotel it said the rooms had satellite T.V which it didn't have set up on the T.V. it just had Irish t.v and some but not even all of the British channels maybe two or three. It was a bit annoying cos if you don't bother with satellite t.v or T.V normally it would of been nice to have at night before bed on your down time. Also they stated even in the room leaflet that there was fee broadband in the room but when i tried to connect i couldn't or it said limited access and would not load. The breakfast was not great no one was there to say this is where the breakfast is. It is a continental breakfast there was not much choice of cereal and the dispenser crushed the cereal and you only had the option of full fat milk which is not great if you are used to skimmed or low fat. You could have had the option of a boiled egg, toast croissants scones.
