Nice hotel just 5 minutes walk from the city.

Just back from a lovely long weekend in Galway. The staff at the harbour hotel were excellent and couldn't do enough. Rooms were adequate and clean. Breakfast was excellent. Will definitely be back.

Staff was friendly and the rooms were very comfortable. Perfectly located to the heart of everything so walking was not a problem. Restaraunt and Bar was a plus. Would definitely chose this location again.

Pros: Everything!
Cons: Nothing
Stayed at the hotel for a wedding. It was a great experience, the staff were so friendly-couldn't do enough for you. The room was lovely, big and airy and very comfortably and the breakfast was excellent.

Great location

Posted 04-Jun-2014
Pros: The location and the friendly staff - easy walking distance to the centre of town but without the noise of a hotel right in the centre.
Cons: All good
Location: Close to Eyre square, Galway shops and Salt Hill
Stayed 3 weeks for business in October 2013 and returned with my husband for a shorter stay of 3 nights in May 2014. It felt like a home away from home - the staff are friendly and helpful.

Friendliest hotel staff!

Very lovely hotel with an extraordinarily helpful staff. Room was a bit small but it was clean and the bathroom had amazing pressure. Short walk to main Galway streets. Easy access for driving into the city. Off street parking.

Our stay at Harbour Hotel Galway

Posted 04-May-2014
Pros: Staff were very friendly and helpful ( especially Dan at reception ). Both breakfast and the evening meal were of a high standard and good value.
Cons: It was OK when we stayed but air conditioning might be needed in the summer
Location: Just 5 minutes walk from the city centre and close to resturants, bars and shops.
We were extremely pleased with the hotel , we have stayed in 4* hotels that were nowhere near the standard of this hotel.

Galway

Posted 27-Mar-2014
Pros: The friendly, accommodating staff, the location and the bar/restaurant.
Cons: The water pressure in the shower!
Location: It was fun exploring the city. You could also visit the Connemara to the northwest and the breathtaking Cliffs of Moher to the southwest!
We arrived at around 8:00am after a long flight feeling tired and jet-lagged thinking we were going to have to wait until 3 pm to check in. Marie at the front desk was extremely helpful and not only got us tea/coffee and scones, but was able to get us into our room before 10 am! She was a Godsend!

Top class

Posted 21-Mar-2014
Pros: Everything
Cons: Nothing much!
Location: 5 min walk from city centre.
Great value, close to town centre, staff absolutely first class from check-in, helping me take a supper snack to our room, assisting with a tour. Supper and breakfast well prepared. Comfortable and clean room. Helped make Galway a special plave to visit.
